Such a fun place to go. so much space and friendly staff. They have live bands all through summer and a park with a bouncy castle for the kids. i have only ever eaten from the bar menu but its tasty.

We visited here many times and are planning to keep doing so. It’s perfect for the kids. There are peacocks in the garden and two big bouncy castles in the playground. Have a cold beer on tap while listening to live music under the shade of trees and watch your kids play, all from the comfort of your picnic table.

Four of us went on Sunday for lunch. We left a booking by phone on Saturday night and never had our call returned. Managed to get a table. Waited an hour and a half for a meal and unfortunately the meal, for the price, was not good. Over fried fish, no dressing on the coleslaw but lots of chips. Way over priced for the meal we got. The feeling, from most people was to be stop taking bookings if they are we under staffed. Queues to get drinks! It was a pleasant day but won't come back

It is a wonderful place to have an event. Total magic. The staff were professional and hilarious and the hroumfs were well kept and beautiful. Really good parking, even for a wedding. A very romantic and gorgeous place to be,Staff 5/5food 3/5Ambience 5/5Grounds 5/5And I'm even thinking of having my wedding here! The only problem was the food and that is easy to fix.

What a find! We stopped at the Tai Tapu in the late afternoon, not sure if the restaurant would be open to serve at that hour. We were the only people there, the waitress was delightful...so welcoming and the food was divine! And the kitchen performed magic! My daughter and I shared the prawn and scallop appetizer which was cooked in the most delicious garlic, lemongrass, cream sauce...almost like a chowder (which I was tempted to order!). I had a side of garlic bread which came with extra garlic butter and basil pesto...too good ! My daughter ordered the chicken salad which was so yummy with heaps of chicken and brie (or camembert), avocado and parsnip crisps. We highly recommend this gem of a pub located in a gorgeous setting!

Very disappointed, $27 for a small beef burger, consisting of a few slices of beef, 3 onion rings and a bit of chopped cabbage in tomato sauce. Chips were included and smothered in salt to the point of being inedible.A pity as it's a nice place!Staff were sorry" and walked off!"

Such an amazing gem of a pub. Menu is great and cooked with care. Great spot to take the kids on the weekend. Staff are all well drilled and the place is clean ad tables look like they're cleared pretty quick and we visited on a Sunday. Beer prices good.
