Extremely disappointing. Have requested for some alterations to my policies. It has been a month and nothing has been done. Instead my premiums have skyrocketed and deductions have already been made on time. Have contacted their customer service team and they are not much help in getting things sorted on time. Not happy at all.After all this a very lovely lady named Briana helped me resolve my issue. She has a lot of background knowledge so five star for her.

If I could give a 0 rate to this company, I would! I bought life insurance from this company 20 years ago! It’s kind of saving type insurance, you can get all your paid premium at the end of 20 years term. My term is end in July. After back and forth 3 months, I still haven’t got my repayment! The lady who handles my repayment just don’t reply any questions! Before I send the documents to her, I sent her number of emails to get her confirmation if the documents are sufficient and correct! Never reply me! I had no choice but sent to her straight away, well after lengthy waiting, she told me that the bank account proof from the bank also require JP’s certified! I then had to go to bank again and bring another bank certificate to JP to certify! I posted the certified bank account to her again! 10 days later, she said she hasn’t received it! I asked her give another few days to see if she could receive my post, if not, just let me know by end of that week! No reply ever from her! Such terrible service and attitude! I will never recommend people to buy any insurance from this company! This company is a Pangzi scam! You will never get your money after you put it!

AIA has been a complete disappointment for us. We have paid them $224.00 for the last 6 years for our income protection insurance. Four months ago my husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer and was told he would need radiation and a major operation. He has now had that. We are self employed owning a small farm and have had to employ someone to take over for the last four months and for the next couple of months. We were totally gobsmacked when we finally heard from Aia yesterday to be told we would receive only $500 per month to pay our staff. What a joke. AIA you are a complete disappointment and I would not recommend anyone to purchase any of their polices!!

WARNING ⚠️ Do not use these people. I phoned twice, used the online chat twice and was told all 4 times someone would get back to me in 3 days which was their lead for a broker to come back to you. Never heard anything. The lady on the phone was a drip who didn't know anything about the policies and couldn't answer the simplest of questions. Know wonder they don't want new business by the looks they don't even respond to current customers trying to get their pay out. Avoid this company at all costs.

So disappointed in their customer service. Had a claim almost a month ago (their emails say that you will get feedback 5-7 days after submission) and didn't get ANY feedback. I had to phone to check what is happening with the claim. I then requested an urgent phone call via email from the health claims team to discuss the claim and once again NO CONTACT. After sending an email myself and the customer service consultant also sending the health claims team an email, I am still waiting for them to contact me (as you can not contact them, you can only contact the customer service team). Terribly disappointed.UPDATE: They solved the issue and the claim was approved.

Would not recommend AIA all they want is your money even when you try to cancel because of now having cover with new employment they still didn't want me to cancel, filled in the survey-no reply, emailed compliant- no reply, message via chat and told Brendan would call-no call, AIA only interested in premiums to line every-bodies pockets, poor customer service, paid premiums for over 10 years and very pleased i never made a claim.

In the last 3 weeks I’ve had to make 2 small non-pre-approved claims (each less than $200) and each time it has been so seamless and so hassle-free. The claims process is exceptionally easy and incredibly efficient via their online portal, I’m super impressed. Each claim was reimbursed to me within 4-5 working days.

Terrible service at many levels. I cannot seem to deal with this company. Yes I have already sent many complaints for years. Barely any improvements. I am taking my insurance to another company soon.
