This hostel on K-road has shown me the best sides Auckland has to offer. Not only is it newly renovated, but also has a modern, well-equipped kitchen and motivated and kindhearted staff. Thank you Jordan for all the help settling in, for all the niche tips and hints to experience the city like a local.Thanks Jordan and also Eric and the whole team for the fun time I had.

Stay somewhere else!Would not go back. Considered leaving as soon as I arrived but I was exhausted.Kitchens, tables and bathrooms were filthy throughout the whole place.No air conditioning, so you would at least expect fans for ventilation but none around.Poor communication from this hostel and didn’t see a single staff member over 2.5 days, another traveller let me in and told me where to find a key.People were slobs in my dorm with items strewn all over the floor, blocking walkways etc.

Great hostel, highly recommend!!!Everything is clean and there are enough showers and toilets. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s free wi-fi.The staffs are all so nice, friendly and helpful - especially Jordan!!I will definitely come back here again if i’m around Auckland CBD!!

Easy walking distance to everything in town. Otherwise a pretty standard hostel. Had a shared room, and was quiet - no partying or anything going on. Fully equipped kitchen and a meeting room on every floor. I believe they have weekly bbq's though I skipped out on that. Quite happy with it overall. Staff was very helpful when I needed to cut the length of my stay at the last minute, no issues with the refund.

Really good hostel experience! Clean and comfy room, spacious bed, shower/bathroom facilities are the best I've seen in a hostel by far! Would definitely stay again.

It is very well located, around several bars and clubs. The personnel is very friendly. the kitchen is fair and the rooms are a bit cramped. Missing a chair or something to be able to change. since if you happen to be on the top bunk it is super uncomfortable. reasonable price

It's not great, but still better than some hostels in Auckland CBD. The rooms can be pokey, and some of them smell. There's also the noise factor as the building doesn't have soundproofing, and there is a need for fans in each room.There are two kitchens, with the one on the top floor a better place as well as the common room and balcony outside being a good area to socialise.The showers and toilets are reasonably good, although there doesn't seem to be enough of them for the number of people that can stay there.Staff are friendly and helpful. Really 3.5 stars.

Great little hostel in a great location. Manager is very kind and the hostel is very clean. Only little grudge : the lack of a communal space to chill. Only common space are the two kitchens and they don't really offer a place to share with others. There is a balcony with a table though, but in september it was too cold to really use.

We stayed in a private room with a double bed. The room and facilities were clean and they had towels and a washing machine and drier you could use. At the time when we stayed (August 2018) the upstairs bathrooms were undergoing renovations and we had to use the downstairs bathrooms but it wasn't a hassle. Please note this place isn't suitable if you have accessibility requirements. The entrance is up a flight of stairs and there are a couple of steps up to the first floor bathrooms and the second floor is up another flight of stairs.

Had a great stay in early September in this hostel, Jordon is really kind and he listens to the trouble some of the guest were facing and take cares if them.
