Black Rabbit Pizza
Excellent stop off after a bit of whale watching due to its proximity to Kaikura Railway Station & Whale Watch Tour start. We both had pizzas and they were excellent. The sole individual both serving and cooking did a great job and the pizzas were both quick and tasty.

Black Rabbit Pizza
The food was good, wine was amazing (Little Angel, local white wine from Marlborough - delicious!!!), but the customer service was the worst I’ve had so far in New Zealand. They explained that it was a very busy day, and as I’ve read it’s a family business and saw the staff carrying a baby around, perhaps they really had some issues that day. Nevertheless, it was not only about the super long waiting time (at least 30 mins before we even got a drink) and the fact we had to order twice because they forgot our order; one of the two people attending to us was quite unfriendly. She didn’t seem welcoming at all when we arrived, brought us menus (after a long wait) and didn’t say a word, didn’t apologize when we asked for a new fork because the one we got had food leftovers on it… Nevertheless, hopefully they normally treat their customers better, and as you don’t get a vast choice in Kaikoura, this could be a decent place to go. I personally would rather not come back.

We had a great Italian pizza with a Greek Salad. Very friendly and prompt service. A great place to stop in for a lovely lunch.

Black Rabbit Pizza
We ordered delivery. The Epic Cheese Burger and the Pepperoni Pizza. Food came pretty quick.Nothing super special, but the right thing for a lazy rainy day at home. The pizza was a little bit too thin and could have been less oily. The burger was good.

Ordered pizzas over the phone and they were delicious! Delivered two pizzas in under 30 minutes. Lady over the phone was super helpful and friendly too sorry I didn’t manage to catch your name!Ordered the peri peri prawn and the aloha for about 50 over NZD. Worth it!Was too good so I only remembered to snap a pic after we dug in

Black Rabbit Pizza
Came here for dinner and the food was amazing. Tried meat lovers, aloha and the black rabbit (in the picture), all were great. The garlic bread is a must try, absolutely fantastic. The service was also very good. Only slight downside is the relatively long waiting time, but it is still reasonable and understandable. Overall, a great pizza place!

I’m sure I’ve been here a few years ago but I don’t remember it being this good! I had pepperoni pizza, Greek salad and fries which were all so delicious, I managed to eat way more than I thought I could! The service was great, I thought the new menu was really nice and it didn’t take long for the food to arrive. I almost forgot to take a photo I just had to dig in. I’ll definitely be back ..

The pizza was okay but nothing special. But its a very kind little restaurant which is really nice. Also the waitresses are really friendly. If you like pizza and you are in Kaikoura you should good there.

Went here after long day of visiting the city. Unfortunately were very disappointed, it wasn’t too busy, so we easily got a space at the table.The girls working there were nice, although some up training would be great.They brought us carafe of water and forgot to bring us glasses, some guests were missing cutlery on table. Floor was filthy, due to short staff they were not able to make steak/burgers.Behind the bar everything looked a bit messy, leaking tap, bottles everywhere, no music.We ordered pizza and it was nice!Its a great place just missing TLC!
