Absolutely delicious! Great service and a nice atmosphere. Catered well to a variety of dietary requirements. The Fiorentina is the best pizza I've ever had!

We have been to The Birdwood a number of times, either just the two of us and with larger groups. We have also had takeaways from there.The food is excellent...just so good! I have tried almost everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed.The service can be a little slow at times, but the staff more than make up for it. Very friendly and they know their menu.We love the atmosphere at The Birdwood. It is local and it is relaxed. You can there dressed up or smart casual and none would be out of place.

Best slow cooked lamb in Christchurch, better than Pedros. All the food we had here is amazing. We have already been back since and will definitely be back again.

Excellent restaurant and great service! Love the gin menu. We started with the Wairiri Buffalo Mozzarella and it was simple and delicious. The pizza was gorgeous. I had the Fiorentina and each bite was juicy with truffle oil and melted cheese. Wow. The chocolate cake was really rich but not too heavy and gets an honorable mention for my favorite application of hokey pokey crunchies.

Delicious meal enjoyed by all 3 of us dining. We started with the marinated artichokes, warmed olives, and zucchini fries ... then had a pizza each which were the Diavola, Salmone and Capriccosa. All pizzas were fantastic including one which was gluten and dairy free. Service was friendly and the ambience was great too :)

Went in for a late lunch and was super happy to hear they would take our order even if they were closing the kitchen! I got the bang bang chicken salad and wow was it amazing. Great portion beautiful flavours and super friendly service

Had a lunch there on a Sunday for an adult birthday. Pleasent and friendly atmonsphere.Iimited but nice range lunch. Had GF DF and Vegan.We choseBang Bang chicken Salad GF DF.Falafel BurgerBoth were scrummy and filling.It has been sometime since I have had a coffee dusted like this one.Thanks Birdwood cafe

A local favourite for a reason. The team are friendly with a real family-owned cafe vibe, they know their local regulars well. Food is delicious and the coffee is top notch. Their vouchers make a perfect gift for someone who lives nearby.

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The dough is thin and crispy and everything tastes so italian authentic! Just perfect!
