Hospice Shop Takanini

EXPENSIVE. SAFETY HAZARD.Starting to get crowded in here with all the displays. I almost tripped over with things on the floor or sticking out. This is an OSH hazard waiting to happen.Lots of things listed as DISPLAYS can be sold. Afterall, it is for charity. I pick something up to buy and there is a sticker attached that says NOT FOR SALE.Lots of cabinets, flowers and things that should be sold to clear the clutter.Interesting to see the $2000 bed now reduced to $750. It wont sell at that price either.I used to buy alot from this store. At least once a month. I rarely do now. Too dear.I used to donate often. But i do not donate to have my things used as displays when they are not needed to.

Beautifully displayed op shop, colour coded clothing racks and home decor, just makes the experience that more easier and it looks great. Loved my visit here

Recently purchased a record player from here - it needed a new needle but now plays beautifully. A great find!! Grandson is over the moon!!!

I have nothing but praise for this store and staff. I’ve purchased many items here, at my own choice of item and accepting the price asked. I always wash what I purchase at op shops before using it myself. Doesn’t everyone? What condition are any items you have dropped off at an op shop. They are doing their best for a very worthy cause, and I remember that when I drop things off or purchase from them. Please don’t knock them unless you are willing to do better.

This op shop had some attractive set ups, but overall I didn't buy anything.The prices are too high for a Hospice, particularly for the mediocre offerings. The staff do not seem very confident, I asked for the price of an item and the retail assistant had to ask four people before they arrived at an answer. Staff were not particularly friendly either.I did like the green table but did not buy it because I do not have a dining room nor house to put it in. But I digress!Overall verdict = meh.

Amazing friendly staff ! They have THE BEST bargains by far :) would highly recommend visiting

Came to shop here at 3.30pm on a Tuesday, Google hours advise that they are open till 5pm. Doors were locked and no hours or notices of early closure on the door.

Prices are so high for a hospice, such a disappointment it's getting to the point where its cheaper to go to Kmart.
