Great staff got us in for last minute booking. Affordable. Great facilities and my daughter loved the play area and jump pad. Only down fall was kitchen was closed early and had no way to heat up my baby's bottle and no contact number to reach anyone.

Arraigned a weekend away with my two sisters and their families and chose this camp as they area accommodating to my sisters dogs. After booking, in their confirmation email they advised me that I was not able to camp in the dog area. I explained to them that I need to camp with family as we both have toddlers that need to stay nearby in the evening when we expected to spend time with family away from our kids. After not feeling that they cared much for our situation during correspondence, I took their word that they had positioned us close to family. Upon arrival, I found my sisters setting up camp more than 200m away at the back of the dog area. The camp was barely half full and there was empty campsites next to where my family had been placed. Before considering this campground, be aware that camp management have an inability to understand the needs of their customers. It is fair to say we wont be returning for a second round.

I like the place. The staff member was friendly enough when I checked in, explained where things were well. The facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) are adequate for a campground.The location is nice. There is a stream that runs behind the campsite which is great for cooling your feet off if you get too hot. Loads of trees around the perimeter of the grounds. Plus there are loads of walking and cycling trails just outside the entrance, plus the beach is only a short walk away.I'll definitely be coming to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot to stay. The tourist cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we need including toilet, shower and equipped cooking facilities. Great location not far from Paraparaumu and supermarkets, and a short trip to Wellington Central. Also short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

This place is sub par! Bathrooms are old and dingy, don’t look clean it kept up one bit. Bugs, cobwebs everywhere! They only give you 4 minutes of hot water to shower! Seriously??!! What mother can shower herself and her baby in 4 minutes? What older person can shower in 4 minutes? Absolutely ridiculous. They also charge you for internet!! You have to pay to stay AND pay for internet. Every other place we’ve stayed orders this for free! Didn’t like this place one bit!

Great place to stay on way to ferry. Soo clean and tidy. Beautiful gardens! We had our dogs so very handy for great walks in Queen Elizabeth park and beach. Highly recommend.

Booked a cabin online and didn't arrive until after gate closed due to late ferry sailing. Owners very obliging and left txt confirmation with entry code.Room was very tidy and clean. Hot shower was bliss! lots of water and hot.Thank you.

I took a cabin. You have to pay extra for beddings. Wifi? Yup, pay extra!The receptionist was very kind and the campground is quite. Just that cheap approach of the owners of nickel and dime to extract more money was disappointing, to say the least

Great location. Be sure to read the reviews and website so you know what you’re getting. Only a five or10 minute walk to very nice long stretch of beach. Right on the edge of a very nice park. I think the four minutes for the hot water in shower is pretty inadequate for most of us. Six or eight minutes would be more reasonable and still allow them to limit the waste of hot water. Good cell phone service for us. Price is good at $20 per person and includes power.
