We had the Valentine's Day set manu, it had a huge variety of foods. The snacks and entrees were exceptional, I really saw your growth as a restaurant compared to last year. The ingredients and presentation have become more creative and the taste and texture have become more delicate and layered. The cider sorbet was definitely the most fun one. The seafood dishes tasted especially good. In my humble opinion, the aged beef and deserts could have been improved. The aged beef was a little too salty and the deserts were a little too sweet, you could add more touches of other flavors to balance them out. I think dishes like the duck egg mushrooms and cider sorbet had more balanced flavors. This doesn't mean anything was bad, I just hold them to a high standard as most dishes were so good. Overall we loved the dinning experience! You did a great job!

We celebrated our 37th wedding Anniversary at the Grove. The service was simply outstanding. Food was extremely tasty and delicious. Lot of surprises specially a beautiful gesture to give us a special card and complimentary sweets. Memorable experience. Thanks heaps grove for making our day a special one.

Very fancy restaurant in Auckland.The menu is small in portions and you can enjoy many items.The view from the windows is not great, but you will be satisfied with the atmosphere and food in the restaurant.Also, the desserts are very unique.Regrettably, the menu options for course meals are poor, but if you have any requests you should discuss them with the restaurant in advance.

Fantastic restaurant. The food and wine were fantastic. The Grove specializes in degustation so you don't choose individual dishes, even though my wife and I don't normally enjoy oysters but here they were phenomenal. The staff were all amazing from our waitress to the sommelier who just happened to be the NZ sommelier of the year.Michael the owner was there and even though they were fully staffed he was floating around pouring wine, serving and talking to customers with his passion for the restaurant obvious.

4.6 | delicious food and drink, with some rather innovative experiences such as a absinthe waterfall, the salt cured venison, and the dry ice herb bowl. Service was incredibly friendly and fun. They were also very accommodating as we asked to switch our reservation date last minute to a Friday and they made it work! Definitely a visit if looking for fine dining in Auckland.

Disappointing service, definitely not what you would expect from this kind of establishment, especially when you’re paying nearly $500 for a dinner for two people.Found a hair on one of thedishes (doughnuts) and quietly told one of the waitresses (she might be a manager?) as she was clearing our table and all she said was “Oh, sorry”. No action taken whatsoever.Food was definitely better than their service, but some of them were very salty.They brought the bill to the people next to us, but we had to pay at the counter. I’m not too sure whether they were discriminating us because we were dressed quite casually for a Thursday night dinner or because we were Asian.

Amazing service and food. This would be a two star Michelin if they surveyed NZ. It's really amazing and the service is over the top amazing. Vanya was my server and she was amazing with explaining everything and how it pairs with everything as it was presented. Easily the best restaurant in Auckland. Recommended

Went here last week and it was absolutely amazing! Food was amazing. Complimentary snacks delicious. Vanya served us and she was so helpful. Wine pairings matched timing of food servings perfectly. Sommelier’s pairings were spot on. Can’t recommend it enough!
