The best local yarn store in Christchurch. The store decor with pallet walls, candy dispenser like yarn shelves, powerpole is so unique and a treat for the eyes . They carry their own brand which is to die for and also support the fiber community to carrying other NZ Hand dyed Yarns . The variety and colour palette are top notch .They also carry all the fun notions you will ever need , not to mention the friendly and knowledgeable staff always willing to help .They also have a cheerfully decorated community space for Craft groups to meet and bond over their love of yarn and creating .They have thought through everything, as there is a kitchenette with a kettle, tea or coffee to help yourself with , plus a rest room .Or if you prefer to bring in your own coffee , the store is conveniently located near the Colombo Mall with Cafe’s near by.They regularly hold pop ups , classses and other eventsA must visit if you are a yarn lover .

This is the most fabulous yarn shop - a warm and welcoming space. The Outlaw yarns (especially the colours) inspire anyone to take up knitting/crochet. In addition the whole crew are so generous with advice and assistance. Can't recommend them more highly.

Could not recommend this place. Extremely poor and rude service from the male owner. They wouldn't refund or exchange an item that wasn't fit for purpose.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The yarn is beautiful, high quality yarn made with New Zealand wool and possum. The store is open and welcoming, and has a great mixture of antique furniture displaying soft skeins of wool in rich, lovely colors. There are store samples so you can see how yarn knits up as well as get some pattern inspiration. There is a adorable collection of notions and knickknacks to choose from. Definitely a great yarn spot in Christchurch!
