Geraldine TOP 10 Holiday Park

View from a cycle tourist..We stayed in a deluxe standard cabin and loved it!Everything was to the usual Top 10 high standard of cleanliness.We stored our bikes under the cabin canopy but there is a bike store if you prefer.We didn't have any pots/pans etc but that wasn't an issue here as we were able to borrow some from reception including a sharp knife to cut our meat and vegetables.Highly recommended!

We googled public toilet and it directed us peoplehere for not sure what reason, we’ve been charged $84 to use the camp site’s toilet for 1 min … the gentleman aggressively said “you are not using the toilet free”. It is reasonable that if we were gently asked to pay to use the toilet for a certain fee due to Google’s mistake, but he asked us to pay for 2 nights fee to use the women’s toilet and asked us to call police if we are not happy with it. As a tourist from Australia, this is the worst experience ever in NZ. I hope no one else would experienced anything like this in their life…..I don’t know how to reply to your reply directly, but what I can confirm is me and my husband didn’t see you in the office at all, otherwise we would definitely asked for permission before we use the facilities. Why would we challenged ourselves for a place which is not allowed to use the toilet and ruined our honeymoon holiday for this? We are the kind of people which would never want anything like this happen and it never happened in my whole life ever! If we are very unreasonable people, we would not pay for the $84. We don’t like to cause trouble to anyone. I understand it is the fault of Google and I believe my husband has explained it to you but you are still aggressive to him not sure why, is it because you think we were ignoring you which we didn’t? Or is it because we are Asian faces? He didn’t tell me anything until we drove out our the place. I am also feel very uncomfortable on the word you typed on the receipt of “Stolen toilet and rubbish” . My hands are still shaking when tying this words and I still cannot believe this happen to us on our last day here in NZ.

Had a powered site. Very clean and quit and good dump facility. Open Air Chess and much more for kids. Extreme friendly staff. We like it!

Great Camping ground very clean and tidy . Handy to Town just walk out the back gate .

Our last stop in South Island. Last Top 10 of the trip and it does have standard facilities and easy access to the city from the camping. Main ladys toilet was not working but another one was available (2min walking :-))

We stayed here in our caravan. Owners are lovely. Site was large. Shower and toilets very clean.

I would definitely happily stay again. fresh choice super market a few minutes walk away the feel of the place was great in my opinion also on the standard cabin I was staying in it was -2 one morning. and I was toasty warm snuggled up in bed. Thanks to the cabin wall heater.

I had a lovely twin bed cabin with bathroom. The cabin had a toaster, fridge microwave and heater, everything I needed. It was lovely and warm inside when I arrived and plenty of parking for my van. The bed was very comfortable. The lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming

We had a 2 bedroom unit with living room and private bathroom. The unit was immaculately clean. We had plenty of space and the walk into town to the museum, shops and restaurants is very short. Next to the Holidaypark was a public swimming pool, heated to 28° and 32°C. The kids loved it.
