BEWARE! Make sure you read your receipts! They do not have any customer service skills, if you ask why you weren't advised the response is you didn't ask" really!You could have said when purchasing

I was in the store today when a lady was trying to return product who wasnt told by staff that is non refundable. When she ask , when she asked you did not tell me, the cashier said you didn't ask in a very rude manner...the lady was trying to be reasonable advising she had not ling left the store, the managers response was.. I don't know that, the lady said look at the receipt.The so called manager was not interested.. very poor service from those two staff members at your store in Manukau...You have lost another customer as I wont be back either.

i observed a female customer today politely request a refund or store credit for a spray paint can she wanted to return (still wrapped & unused), and apparently only minutes after purchasing the product. she was refused because they have a no refund policy on spray paint! the NO refund policy is not advertised near the spray paint but apparently its on the docket\receipt - is that a stupid place to advise your paying customer there is a no refund policy on the product you just purchased - Dave??The customer should have been advised before buying the product - Oh by the way we Maam\Sir we dont refund spray paint purchases - would you still like to proceed with the Purchase? " if you're not advertising your refund policy dont tell customers after the fact!!!rightly so the customer became irate but unfortunately lowered her standards to that of the customer service provided.not flash Dave - you should do better - 1 star for the customer service."

Service is shocking it is as if they are un able to speak and they dont smile . Stadf on the floor are ALWAYS grouchy and you feel intimidated by them.They have NO customer sservices skills and have NO willingness to help you.They act like it's to much of an effort to help you.One of the worst stores for customer service.

Well stocked with feathers at the counter. Helpful staff. Knowledgeable in stock on the shelves. Very good experoence

Pretty much all the things I needed in one spot for art supplies but much better because of it's good low prices.

The 2 reviews previous to mine are quite disingenuous I was in the shop at the time and witnessed their negative behaviour towards the staff who were just doing their job. The staff were very helpful, I shop here all the time and the return policy is quite clear on the receipt, they abused the staff with foul language, it was quite disgusting and they seemed very entitled, DAVIDS EMPORIUM YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING

Not the best experience yesterday. I contacted the store beforehand asking if we could cut fabric that we bought from them 2 days prior for funeral arrangements. We thought we'd have time to cut it ourselves but things got busy for the family.I also let the staff member know how much fabric we had. Any additional costs we were willing to pay due to limited time we had to get it done. She said it was fine and we could come in and get it done. It was a relief to hear so we made our way there. Another staff member at the fabric table was rude from the onset and pretty much looked at us like we just wasted our time and there's no way they could do it in the time we needed it. Totally understandable, however, new information to me as we were never told that over the phone, obviously we wouldn't be there and wasted their time had we known sooner. The lady then got her manager who was very nice and professional. Also gave us advice on what to do.My only thing is to make sure staff are across all your processes to avoid misinformation and time wasted for both parties.

A dedicated customer dating back to when they were in a former site down the road under a previous name. Good place to get cheap items at for crafts and other nic-naks party supplies that sort of thing.

What an awesome store. You can find a wide selection of items at a very affordable price. Tools, arts and crafts, sewing stuff, materials, costumes, homeware, kids toys, etc, etc. Enough space for pushing baby in pram. Very well organised too!!. I especially love the selection of ribbons and buttons available here, very unique and beautiful!!
