Candy is amazing with my dog. I feel completely safe leaving him with her. She and her staff are just lovely. The environment is fantastic with trees so the dogs can run around in a mix of shade or sun. I have complete faith in this business and my dog loves going.

This is a great cattery, which we have used on several occasions. Our cat is nervous by nature and it is really important to us that, when we are away, she is in an environment where she feels safe. The team at wandering willows is committed to ensuring the animals have a happy and safe stay. The staff are easily contactable and very flexible about fitting in with the cat and owners’ needs. We have no hesitation in recommending this cattery as the ideal place to leave your cat when travelling up to Northland.

Love this place. Have used it regularly since opening. So relieved and happy to have a good kennel environment for my dog, who's getting on in years. Drop offs and pick ups are smooth and effortless. Candy is always friendly and welcoming, nothing fazes her. Her canine experience and love of dogs shines through. Highly recommend Wandering Willows.

Wandering Willows Kennels and Cattery (Daycare and Training)
We were looking for somewhere for our extremely active dog to enjoy spending time there and mixing with other dogs of all sizes and he loves it here. He comes home exhausted and you can tell he has had a good time. Videos of him running around and playing with others, and also just genuinely loving being outside. They treat the dogs like they are all theirs and have so much time and respect for each one. Highly recommend to all.

Awesome kennels offering both daycare and longer stays. The time and attention Candy and the team spend with each and every animal is really special and she’s done great work helping out with some of our puppy’s behavioural issues. He loves going to visit and I feel totally comfortable and relaxed leaving him there.

Wandering Willows is an outstanding facility. We left our 2 dogs with them for 9 days and they had a wonderful time. The team are really professional, dedicated and will look after your pets like they were their own. We will definitely be coming back!

Our French Bulldog Remy absolutely loves going to see Candy at the kennels. He goes for both day care and overnight stays when we go away and we feel very confident leaving him there. He has special dietary requirements which Candy and the team manage well and he always comes home happy (and tired.. A sign he's had a great time!). Thanks for the care, time and patience you put into our pup.
