This family-owned restaurant is truly delicious; so much, in fact, that we had to go every morning we were in town. Fantastic, friendly service to add to the fresh-squeezed orange juice, tasty coffee, and the best-in-New-Zealand Kiwi breakfast. I could not say enough positive things about this place, so make sure you stop by!

Decent food. But terrible service. Sitting waiting for my cup of tea which I ordered 35m ago. I’ve received and eaten my sausage and eggs, 20m ago. When you ask if they’ve forgotten it, they say no and make out it’s normal to wait that long. Update: came to the table and apologized for the wait, claimed he warned us when he came in (no he didn’t).

Stopped for a quick breakfast, overall decent food- loved the eggs Benedict, simple and no frills. Service was decent as well.

Such weirdos they told us our group of eight was too many people we had to leave and then they said you’ve taken all our tables. Two of us wanted coffee four of us wanted pies and 2 wanted something to eat off the menu. Avoid at all costs… They clearly have no interest in serving customers

I look back at the old photos and I assume they are under new ownership now as the food was a shocker. The servers and waiter were lovely and they took our complain across to the chefs/cooks so i give them a 10/10. however, The food was horrible. My advise, do not get the eggs benny or pretty much anything on their breakfast menu. There was only two small pieces of english muffins with two poached eggs (not well poached) and hollandaise on top. Thats it! the entire plate looked empty! it was not worth the price. No presentation no extra side dishes and very subpar tasting food and they charge more than $21 per meal. It just doesn't make sense why run a cafe/restaurant if you're not going to be good at it?

Came for a nice morning coffee and ordered 6 drinks. Before we even finished ordering the cafe owner mentioned ‘theres not much please going on’. We always and also have said ‘thank you’ after ordering. When we confronted the owner he said he expects customer to say PLEASE for every individual order or atleast after the first one. Its the most ridiculous thing i ever heard from a biz. There is a reason alot of the reviews here mention the owners are rude!! If they can’t do even do basic customer service they shouldn’t be running a cafe. Please be prepared to say ‘please” for ever order you place or get some awful experience while you are in AT if you are visiting here. But i recommend to save your money and spend on a business that actually appreciates you.Not even 1 star

Very good fish and chips. Great spot for both dine in and takeawayGreat place for coffee and seating in the outdoor courtyard space is just delightfulThe staff are great and happy to talk about Arrowtown and point you in the right direction for all the places only locals know about!

Avoid this place at all costs. The wait staff are rude, and the food & coffee is terrible. There are alot of other cafes around the area which deserve your money. Very disappointing

Beautiful cosy Cafe, but your manager is so rude! He had a free big table and tells us we can not eat there (we were a big group & he seemed to not like that.) He got angry when we moved some chairs (3) with the help of other customers to fit just 7 of us. Waiting staff were good. I recommend you run miles away from nowhere! I did not unwind.
