International Working Holidays

I had such a great experience with IWH, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. My decision to do a visa and go to the States was a bit of a last minute one but Shelby, Vicki, and Jade were so amazing at catching me up on the process and they truely went above and beyond to get me there. Jade was always happy to answer questions I had and Bianca was great at checking in while I was there. They really care, and want to make your experience as great as possible

The team at IWH was great. They helped me with everything so I could get ready to go overseas for my programme. Jade was especially good at communicating with me and giving me all of the information that I needed to succeed!

I did a trip in 2018 with IWH, and they were SO HELPFUL right from the start! From visa applications, to finding flights and sorting travel insurance, they just made sure the whole experience went super smoothly for me. I was doing my own travel before participating in the IWH's programs, and after volunteering I was going to do my own travel again. That last bit changed while I was overseas but the IWH were so helpful and ensured I had flights and tours booked so that I wasn't left in the lurch. I was originally going to be in South Africa for 2 weeks volunteering and then meeting up with friends (but they bailed), so I ended up volunteering in South Africa, then heading to Zimbabwe on my own to check out Victoria Falls, then down to Cape Town to spend a week exploring there. It was just an amazing trip, and Cape Town is for sure A MUST-SEE!!! Zimbabwe is really beautiful too, I spent a good part of the afternoon bargaining at the markets by the falls. Loads of fun, and it wouldn't have been possible without IWH and the amazing team there, (and of course, the team over in South Africa!) :)

My volunteering experience through IWH has without a doubt been the best experience of my life and helped me move into my dream career. The girls have always been so quick to communicate and provide me with any information or assistance needed. I always thought going on such big adventures would be very complicated but the IWH crew have made everything incredibly easy and possible for me. The team has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, forever grateful!

The IWH the staff are all extremely helpful at every step of the way: from the very beginning when I wanted first information until after my trip when I had arrived home again. They customized my trip to making it a great experience even when I had to reschedule quite some time later as initially planned and I had to choose a different program due to COVID. They were always wonderfully friendly and answered even my most stupid questions with utmost patience. I can highly recommend them and would love to have more trips organized by them!

IWH provide life changing oppurtunities. Since 2018, I have worked with them on three occasions. From the beginning they have been super friendly and organised, helping me get the most from my programs.Jade and Shelby have been my main points of contact, they have always shown a genuine interest and are willing to go above and beyond. They have picked me up from airports, helped with relocating after a hurricane and are always up for a chat.I'm so thankful to the entire team and can't recommend them enough.

I've had the pleasure to work with IWH not only once but twice! I am very thankful for the supportive team at IWH who helped me gain employment at the Broadmoor for 2022, and again for Sea Island 2023! In my experience I've found the team easy to reach out to and always very informative and supportive. Special shout out to Jade and Shelby for always being there to answer questions I have promptly and efficiently. Everyone has always felt more like friends rather than strangers. I would definitely recommend IWH to anyone wanting to do an overseas exchange, without a doubt you will have a supportive, friendly, pleasant and efficient team by your side! I recently volunteered for 3 weeks in South Africa and it was truly one of the best experiences ever and I wish that I had stayed longer! The things I saw and the people I met, I will never forget! The ladies at IWH who helped me to make this trip happen are really amazing and so helpful, I highly recommend them! One of the biggest things I loved about going through International Working Holidays is not only do they have so many opportunities and projects to choose from, whatever you choose they are there to help you every step of the way. I chose the Big 5 Conservation Research at Welgevonden Reserve and IWH sorted out everything for my trip over to South Africa. For me this was a major help as I have very bad anxiety and the thought of figuring all this out of my own when I’ve only travelled solo once before, scared me more than they actual trip. IWH helped me with me flights, insurance and were more than happy to answer the countless questions I had for them. I felt safe in their hands and trusted that my trip was going to be smooth. I also loved that prior to my trip they checked in on me countless times whether it was with additional information for me or to simply ask how I was feeling about it all. The whole team was incredibly friendly and approachable and I would hands down go with them again for another project. I would also highly recommend them if it’s your first time going overseas by yourself, or if your not the most confident at organising all those pesky details and documents that come with travel, just as I am.I had the best time going to Welgevonden and it wouldn’t have been possible without their help. Doing conservation with endangered species had been a dream on mine since I was a child so thank you International Working Holidays for making this dream of mine possible. Tēnā koutou katou! International Working Holiday (IWH) we’re so helpful with the application process. They made it so easy and the process was straightforward. The communication channels were open, and didn’t take long for them to reply, be it email or phone calls. This was my first work and travel programme so I was quite anxious and had a lot of questions. They were never far away, and answered all the questions I had, which was really reassuring for me. During my programme in U.S.A they kept in contact to check up on me, and were always available if I had questions. Overall my experience with IWH was pleasant, and so too was my placement in U.S.A. I would definitely do another programme with IWH, and would recommend IWH to anyone!
