Waipawa Bakehouse Café
We've visited other Bakehouse Cafe's around the country, but they're nowhere as good as this one, with a great food selection & reasonable prices. We had moaned that there were no places in CHB, that had decent thick shakes & only indulged when we travelled. But at last we have found the best thickshakes ever & it's local! We will definitely be back.

Always fresh. Always delicious. Dropped to 4 stats could of thd .50c hike on pies and sandwiches.. the price when they started was very good. I cant get thd feed I want but the kiddos still can. Not a total loss. Unnecessary price rise IMO.

Service was slack didn't not listen to the order correctly, ordered fresh off the border got stale cold chips with no salt, stale burger buns, no sauce on the cheese burger, chicken burger was very salty. Would no recommend. Have been there previously and chicken kababs were not cooked through and food has been stale and cold from sitting in the cabinets to long.

Wow what an amazing place!Open early, clean, tidy and lovely presentation. Got told the quiche was amazing, and they werent wrong! Lovely hot chocolate to warm up on early commute.
