Vivo Hair Salon Petone

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Anthony, he was so lovely and attentive! Did an excellent job and was great to talk to. He also made sure to spend quite some time with me at the beginning going over exactly what sort of colour I wanted, I did not feel rushed at all and he really provided me with plenty of options and examples. My hair is lovely and exactly how I wanted it. I really felt looked after by all staff. Will definitely be coming back!!

This salon lacks professionalism and skill. The woman in charge was intent on belittling the new employee in front of clients any chance she got and complained to me (loudly, so the new employee could hear) that it was a shame they couldn't choose their own staff. The colour done on my hair was uneven - the highlights were not in the same place on either side of my head which has been embarrassing as the blonde streak only appeared in the front on one side which has made everything look lopsided. Not recommended and feel like the woman in charge should really be ashamed of how she treats junior staff members. Definitely not worth the money paid either.

I used this shop on the 30th September 2021.I wanted ombre but I couldn't get the ombre I wanted because my hair was too dark so Sonia ended up bleaching/foiling my hair. I was not at all happy with all the different shades of blonde in my hair, which now some have green tints in them ???? but I paid anyway. I'm not the type of person to argue with professionals because they should be professional. What I was very happy with, is the 4-6 bleach/foils put in my daughters front section of her hair then added purple color to the area. She looked fabulous but I don't think it was worth almost $550.One last thing. the way the staff all sat around while I paid that excessive amount and giggled and whispered was not professional at all. Why did you all need to sit around me while I pay? I felt ugly, shamed and ripped off but I wasn't gonna let that show because it was my daughters day.

I have been to the vivo petone salon twice now for my keratin hair treatment and both times my experience was great.Both the times my stylist were so sweet and before beginning they would take me through the process and explain the steps involved.They would also take care of me by promptly answering my needs for water or for use of their facilities.Since it's a very lengthy process and can take up more than 3 hours, it's essential to establish good rapport because you would be working so closely with them.Both the times I was very impressed with the results, I even purchased hair kits from the salon.Will always prefer Petone Vivo

I would not recommend this salon for having a colour treatment, I ended up being in the chair for 5 hours. My hair has been damaged, they did offer me a treatment' the following week

I've been thrilled to find an experienced hair stylist locally,who listened to what I wanted and seemed to 'get my hair straight away. Just been back for 2nd visit,and have rebooked a following one.Easy to get an appointment,and a park, though of course Jackson street is getting busier.

Hi,My wife Afrin vusited today ans shw already postes hee review on the services. She paid $139 for global hair colour. But Soniya did her root touchup and send her back. Who charge for root touchup $139 without hairwas or any treatment. My wife is being cheated by staff. Veey bad services. Also her hair colour is dark brown and they coloured hee hair in black without her concern. Extremly un professionalism.
