Naumi Studio Wellington

Funky hotel with lots to offer… even freebies in the mini bar. Rooms are on the smaller side and my only issue was lack of air con. No problems when we were there but summer??Great location in Cuba St…. Food central!

I stayed for one night before catching the ferry. Funny enough I stayed at this same hotel before it was Naumi and didn’t realise until I arrived. It is far superior to how it was before, quirky, fun and super central. They’ve done a great job making it a nicer space.Staff were friendly although a few of them were not very helpful. When I checked in I found none of the plugs in my room worked, I told one staff member and then I waited for 10 minutes while he helped others before he was aiming to check my room. Luckily another very lovely team member came along and just moved me no questions asked. The room was compact but very functional, perfect for one person. Agreed it could use a bit of dusting, but it was overall very clean.The room has all sorts of nice touches, a shower steamer, nice soaps and hair products, a complimentary mini bar with sparkling water and nice teas and some wee kiwi treats. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and it was value for money. I also used the parking which was $30 and secure.Would definitely stay here again!

Due to an issue with my previously booked accommodation I was forced to look for last minute accommodation when every man and his dog was in Wellington. While the price matched my urgency and the lack of supply I had a lovely stay here. Loud and eye catching decor in the signature of this establishment. The bed was large and comfortable. Lots of places to charge devices and huge TV.My criticisms/critiques are based on the price I paid and what I feel this should reflect.Shower took a long time to get hot and had low pressure. It was also narrow.Not the nicest view from windows.Breakfast was $50 extra on booking or $28 if I just showed up.Staff were all very helpful and kind. They were also very patient with some very rude and entitled patrons.

A very interesting hotel. From the street level l would not have picked this place, come inside and what a fabulous surprise. Love all the colours, each floor a different colour. I am on the red floor, the funkiest decorations make this place unusual, beautiful carpets, different shades and patterns. Even the bed room and bathtoom are so good and welcoming. Yes give this place a try. I only stayed the night but if l come back to Wellington l would book here again.Staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice quaint hotel perfect for a short stay. Though the consistency is not fantastic. Myself and a few colleagues stayed here and our shower experiences were very different. I had a shower curtain that took up half the shower space. One of my colleagues had a shower door that opened inwards and there was no way of closing it once in the shower. My other colleague had a perfectly normal shower door that opened outwards and had no issues.

A cool quirky hotel with comfortable beds.the staff were friendly and generally very helpful with resolving a minor issue that required a room change.The room is enough for traveling business but may be a little small for some. As I travel for work, I genuinely enjoyed the hotel compared to others as it had a lot of character. As a result I will stay again.The location is great on Cuba Street and parking was never an issue on the road.

Great location, central and walking distance to everything. Lovely reception space and bars/restaurants within. Great rooms equiped with everything you can think of - Great selection of tea, chocolate fish and shower amenities. Comfy beds!

I am a little conflicted about reviewing this stay. I used to be a regular at this location back when it was Comfort and Quality for 10 years. I have stayed at both sides of the hotel in the past .This time my friend gifted us the stay for our anniversary - the room was Zest Queen and cost $264 for 1 night. The room was on the old Comfort side" of the hotel. Let's start with the positives:The decor of the room and the hotel are incredible and fresh. Really well done!Incredible cleanliness. I'm very picky with hotel cleanliness and it was impecable. Including the bathroom

Funky decor and friendly staff, but the room definitely was not as clean as I would have hoped. There were thick layers of dust on the shelf and skirting boards of the bathroom. The remote for the TV was filthy, window sill was very dusty. The room only had a heater, but this was not needed because the room was uncomfortably hot all night, had to keep the window open all night to cool the room down a bit, but because of this we had to listen to the sounds of late night partiers and vehicles, which kept us awake.

The room was perfectly fine. Zany colours and designs. Fun fun. Great location. Nice and quiet considering it's on Cuba St. Price just okay. Lost one star because they took a $100 security off my card, without telling me, which I'm still waiting to be returned (a week later).
