Worst cutting of the stakes, waste of time and money, and on the top of it very rude and arrogant behavior of the man sitting at front,I have to make these for guests now I have to go to Riccarton shop.Cutting the whole tummy makes it hard to fry it , didn't expect such a thing and arrogant shopkeeper.

As someone who frequents this fish market, I can confidently say that it is a gem. It's possible that some customers may expect artificial friendliness, but I appreciate the genuine assistance provided here. During my visits, I have never encountered any rudeness or issues of that nature.One of the reasons why I keep coming back is the self-serve nature of this market. Being able to choose my fish pieces at my own pace is incredibly convenient. I have often struggled in supermarkets to point out the right fillet, but the self-serve option here eliminates that problem entirely.Having been a regular customer, I can wholeheartedly recommend this fish market for its fresh selection, consistently friendly service, and the freedom of self-serve. It has become my go-to place for obtaining the freshest fish while enjoying a stress-free shopping experience.

If you want a good service this is your place. You serve yourself and choose the pieces of fish you like. Fast and easy. And the person attending you is kind, fast and efficient. But, if you prefer to be asked how your day went or what you are going to do for lunch, go to New World ...

It's a very good bargain price for fish in this end of spring.I walked to the shop from The Colombo and it was only 5 took 5 mins.

Worst customer service.Person at the counter is extremely rude and doesn't have manners to talk.He serves customers as if he does some favors on us and we don't pay him.

Well this place has gone downhill since the Asian owners bought it. Prices are high and the customer service is terrible. I was served by an Asian guy wearing a blue t-shirt in his late 30's i presume and after I asked him how his day was going he replied yip" and then not even a thanks for the 60 dollars i spent on the fish i bought. I will never return and i would recommend that anyone that reads this goes to theos fisheries down Riccarton road. Much better quality and quantity of fish and customer service there is 10 times better."

Thank you very much for good price fresh fish and friendly staffs. I prefer whole fishes and squids therefore especially thanks to Peter who always helps me to clean and cut them, I'm happy and I really appreciate it.

Heaps of car parking outside. Really nice guy on the counter. Fresh fresh fish from the market that day. Other options in the freezer.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, never disappoints, fish can be quickly cleaned there for you etc at no extra cost, just makes things easier, also the prices are great too.

Visiting this shop since past few months now. They always have fresh stocks of seafood and most available seasonal varieties at a very reasonable price.Most importantly cleaning and cutting is always perfectly as per our requirements. Super quick service. Ample parking space outside.
