I visited her clinic for couple of times. While my 1st visit, she examined and talk about my hair fall issue which was really good to know about. She is lovely lady tho but she tried to sell her expensive products. I bought her products which she recommended but I didn't even open one of supplements as I prefer to stay more natural, thought I will return unopened supplements when I go to see her on my next visit. I just used hair spray, shampoo. I got some positive results tho. After few cancellation from her side, finally see her today. I tried to return supplements which weren't opened but seems she isnt willing to take it back. I showed her all of tablets boxes which were closed. While showing her, I found one of box paper just slightly off which I never knew as I didnt open box since my 1st visit. She refused to take it back, even she ripped paper off most and mentioned as cant take it back as I opened it. I would like to mention, these products are available online, and she is selling more than double price. I feel like, she is more like greedy sale woman than doctor. I wouldn't recommend to anyone due to my bad experience.

Dr Padmaja provides a wonderful service as a professional Trichologist and we are very lucky to have her in Chch! I have just started using her service after developing the first stages of hair thinning (female pattern baldness). I love the holistic approach to hair growth and health, which rightly promotes total body health from the inside out. The hair products she offers are top quality, and the laser sessions are very relaxing and therapeutic. She is your “one-stop shop” for any hair and scalp issues. It’s too early for me personally to start seeing results as I have only just begun my treatment (and it will be a few months before the new growth becomes obvious) but my hair is already in much better condition and feels so much better thanks to her advice and the personally tailored plan she prepared for me during the initial consultation. There is no comparable service offered in Chch (and probably not even in NZ), so take advantage! :)

Lovely lady, however unfortunately I felt my initial issue wasn't acknowledged or that she had good knowledge on the problem I was presenting with. Was happy to pay the large price for analysis and most diagnosis just not my presenting issue. However when offered a shampoo, conditioner, spray and vitamins which I didn't feel were for my initial presentation and charged an extra $240 for products alone I was shocked. She seemed more interested in hair thinning which isn't an issue for me currently, rather than the presenting problem. Unfortunately I feel this is more about making a profit. Not great with scalp issues. If your experiencing hair thinning I'm sure she is great, however I'm sure you can find the products cheaper elsewhere !

I was losing hair and wanted it to stop. After following the instructions from Dr Padmaja, grabbing the vitamins, the laser cap and eating more healthy I started to see results after a year. I have been under the kind, caring and knowledgeable care of Dr Padmaja for almost a year now and can honestly recommend her and her treatments very highly. I sought her services out for significant hair thinning, after trying to find an answer to the cause, seeking advice from a specialist, GP, and many natural health practitioners and not having a holistic view of my hair health and the most effective way to reverse the problem. The medical approach was to prescribe me high dose hormones or Regaine and check for low thyroid/iron etc, not taking into account other parts of the hair loss puzzle. My trigger moment was when someone in the hair business recommended a hair piece or wig - I am very stubborn and just did not want to give up on myself/my hair, and wanted to actually fix the problem/s which were manifesting in my hair loss. The recommended treatments from Hairmantra are many and varied and include recommendations for my diet, vitamin/mineral supplement and increased water intake (to feed the hair), high quality products for hair and scalp care, scalp massage, and laser hair treatments, along with recommendations for stress reduction etc. So a very holistic approach.
