We had the roast for dinner tonight. It was cooked to perfection with roast beef, baked potatoes, pumpkin, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, carrots and a rich gravy. After being in a motorhome for 7 weeks it was just what we wanted and did not disappoint. A large serving reasonably priced.

My husband had the scallops, sautéed and they were cooked to perfection and he knows his kaimoana. Yes we did have to wait, but totally worth the wait. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Recommend the scallops, try them.

What a great evening we had. The service was fantastic, friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent and huge servings. Can't fault them at all. The desserts were inspired. Orange and Apple crumble. Yum. Plus raspberries at the bottom of the creme brulee which was a delicious surprise. Highly recommend.

Man IDK.. all these positive reviews these people must be in a time warp or friends of the owner .This was horrible,Iordered the Lamb hotpot and it looked like the filling out of a pie you buy at a petrol station and this so called jalapeño bread " had a jalapeño on the top and was dry and crusty.My partner asked for a medium rare steak that ended up being so runny her chips that looked like they came from a fish n chip shop went soggy and it was more Blue than what she had asked for.Definitely won't be back absolutely YUCK!Lovley staff though very friendly and empathetic."

We were a group of 4 who were all extremely disappointed with the quality of our meals.3 of us who ordered the beef roasts found the beef itself was fine and there was plenty of it but the veges left a lot to be desired. The carrots and broccoli had a decidedly stale musty taste ( not pleasant at all) and the potatoes were not roasted but had obviously been precooked then dunked in the deep oil fryer to finish. Oh and the roast pumpkin was overcooked dry and shriveled up. Cauliflower was fine.The other member of our party who ordered the $40 whitebait meal was also really disappointed as although the whitebait was plentiful the fritters were very, very dry and tasteless, consequently most was left uneaten. The young waitresses were very pleasant and helpful but the chef (I would say cook) could do with a few lessons in food prep, food presentation and how to respond to customers dissatisfaction by not ignoring them when a message from the customers is passed on to the kitchen. Our experience for what was to be a special family occasion was very substandard and left a lot to be desired. Would not recommend the 'Quarry Restaurant'.

Had a wedding reception at the Quarry. Great food, service and nice room but not ideal for a large function. They coped as best they could with sound issues.

The Quarry Restaurant
We loved the friendly service. The food was awesome, huge portions. We watched the collosial burger given to another table, that could have fed us all. Even the baby burger was huge and delicious. Everything we had was delicious and the lady serving us was so lovely. I'd highly recommend this for a casual dining experience.

It is a great place to stay the night or longer. Will be back their very time I visit Westport. Very thing was A+
