Koromatua Homestead

Such a beautiful home and space. Love that it’s away from the city, but still close enough. We stayed here while my Dad was in Waikato hospital. Our host Steve always checked we were okay, or needed anything. And he was happy for us to bring our two puppies to stay too. Steve and Glady make delicious and perfectly presented breakfasts, eggs benny, pancakes and eggs on toast. We had a lovely room close to the hot tub, pond and the bank where we could see the chickens, pigs ,ducks and goat in the mornings. TV has Netflix and other apps built in. The front area has a bar, karaoke machine, big TV, pool table and guitar. Perfect space for family trips, or group retreats. 10/10 would return :)

This place is PARADISE! The hosts are seriously amazing and relaxed. Steve is a funny guy with a lot of great stories about things he has experienced and had me in fits of laughter!! I loved it so much I never wanted to leave! I'll definitely be coming back for all of my future holidays!!!!

We had our first family camp here. There was 37 of us. We enjoyed our time here and the place accommodated to our large family. I would recommend this for big families who are looking for a place for a getaway from the busy city. This place is quiet out in the farm area.

Beautiful place only just out of town to give you that feeling like your truly out on holiday! Absolutely love the scenery of the country and the lovely service of the workers with a luxurious place to sleep!

A big thank you to Steve and Glady making the barn available to us for a last-minute booking when I phoned Steve. We had a family member in Waikato hospital. Koromatua Homestead was only 12 minutes easy drive to the hospital. It is pet friendly and allowed us to bring our dog to stay. Steve is a friendly host aways asking if we needed help and how our family member was in hospital? Staying in the barn allowed us to relax at night after a busy day visiting the hospital. The two heat pumps were very good at keeping the rooms warm during the cold nights.

Very unique and comfortable place! We stayed in the Thunder chalet and it was very cozy. Breakfast was delicious and Glady was a sweetheart. Also, the animals are adorable, especially the dogs!

We stayed in the Barn, which was great with two little ones being able to spread out.Hot Tub outside & playground & farm animals for little ones. They were kept entertained so everyone happy.Steve was a great host.Definitely be back
