Delicious Filipino food in Hamilton. It's definitely the best Filipino food in New Zealand. We would come down again from Auckland just to eat more.

The only restaurant that had dinuguan,which made me really happy. but it's a bit watery for me.Wish they can make it more saucy.. Chips had cheese powder which reminds me of potato corner.inasal was good. kuya"

Loved the homey feel inside the store. I ordered Crispy Pata, Bopis and Sizzling Tofu for take out and Halo Halo Special to have in the store, it was a hot afternoon in Hamilton and the cold treat hits the spot. TRY the Halo Halo Special soon!!! The food taste great and highly recommended.

I recently visited and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the kare-kare which is supposed to have a distinct peanut butter taste, but the dish was overly oily that it masked the flavor of the peanut butter. Moreover, the kare-kare was too salty, which made it difficult to appreciate the other ingredients.The quality of the kare-kare was really disappointing as it lacked the essential flavors and the balance of the dish was off. I cannot speak for the other dishes served in the restaurant as I didn't try them, but I would not recommend ordering the kare-kare in this establishment.

I would have a hard time justifying coming back. I paid $29.50 for the sizzling chopped pork dish but the portion was smaller than expected for the price and, honestly, it was just chopped pork, sauce, a raw egg and rice. More like a $18.99 dish than a $29.50 dish. I really wanted to like the place but I felt a bit ripped off to be honest at the end.
