Stayed 2 nights with them. Really good value. Clean room & bathroom, comfy bed. Very good location. Friendly staff.There were not enough sockets in the room so it would be good to bring your own power bank. Kitchen is a bit small for the number of guests they have and gets crowded at dinner time. But none of them are deal breakers.

I just came to eat! Great menu, the food here was awesome! Good selection of beers, try the red lion! I had a hard time deciding but stoned in the hand shank, it was super tender with a nice hint of red wine too it! Great meal after a good hike!

Sadly the owner had given the bar/restaurant staff the night off so everything was closed the night I stayed, wasn't told this when booked. Disappointing.Had to walk into town for a meal.Room was nice, shower was awesome!Other people staying were so loud at night, banging doors, yelling, very annoying and had to tell them to be quite it's 9.45pm! They were ok afterwards. Unsure if I'd stay again but would still recommend this place as it had alot to offer for the price.

We stopped here recently for some brunch and it was great. Has a nice little garden room which we sat and was child friendly for the babies. We ordered some eggs benedict which were delicious with pastries & coffees which were also great. Staff were so friendly and great service thank you.

Location is great.Room was perfect for the price, but the noise from water system in building could take a hike.

Very friendly and helpful staff on check in and in the bar/restaurant. Very good food and the garden and bar were full each evening. The kitchen on the backpacker side was adequate, oddly short of coffee mugs, but good storage. Our en suite room was a good size, good value and bathroom had a powerful shower (but was not very sound proof). Pub/ restaurant 5 stars, backpacker 4 stars.
