Food taste pretty authentic. The service is negative stars if I can. Menu has limited English translation and cannot be understood easily. One staff unable to answer any questions but answer yes yes. The other staff was full of dirty words even in front of kids. Trolley crashes on customer shoes, and instead of apologies, dirty words again. Not acceptable service. Won't be here again. Not recommended unless you want to be rudely treated.

This is by far one of the best Auckland restaurants I've been to in my life. Ive been to hundreds of places to eat in this city and it's hard to come close to this experience - it is euphoric and so damn tasty. I actually get shivers of joy just thinking of their food. I can't believe how cheap their meals are($16~) especially considering not only the high quality, but the amount you get too. You will never leave hungry from any of their soups unless you are an Ironman or in Gokus league(seriously). Some reviews here saying the food is bland are making a big mistake - they(kitchen/chefs) do not really add any salt to the meals, they provide salt at each table - if you do not add any then your meal will not come to life. Be sparing on adding the plate of hot sauce to your soup although my spice tolerance is only medium and I like to add it all. The salt is essential though, aprox half a teaspoon for starting although I add about 1 whole teaspoon(it is fluffy Korean salt, you aren't actually getting as much as it looks like).Ask for empty rice bowl so you can separate some soup into it and cool it down faster, as waiting for your soup to cool down before you can devour it is the only downside to this absolute AWESOME restaurant. Please franchise it so I can eat this delicious soup 7 days a week!If you are looking for a place to get a great, tasty, healthy meal at a low price, with fast service(5-8min for a soup) then look no further. If you live close, I am very jealous.

The lamb soup was delicious and rich with big chunks of tender lamb. Dumplings were also very good and love the fillings. Side dishes were yum but a bit spicy. The male staff were very nice and friendly:)

The dolsot bibimbap was enjoyed by the kids. Sullong tang was good. The Ukeoji Haejangguk was nice and spicy. Kal guk su was enjoyed by my 9 year old. He said he would have liked a few more shrimp. The kim chi is very good here.

Vey good quality of food with reasonable price! Currently they are doing take aways only but it is still worth to visit. Their main menu is a soup but I like Bibimbap the most. Yum!

Big quantities of foods. Worth the price. I recommend the lamb soup. Cabbage Kimchi is especially spicy here and it is quite addictive. Love this restaurant especially during winter season.

Good tradition Korean food, beautiful lamb hot pots or beef sheen at reasonable prices. Very tasty and decent serving. Limited paring in front but plenty on the main road. Expect to wait for a table during peak hours. Service is average but owner operator and you can tell the crew are hard working as it opens 7 days and 11am to 11pm...cant beat that. The Boss man can be grumpy sometimes. Possibily the best Lamb dish/set in town at $16. Taste even better during Cold winter weather. They also sell traditional Korean Soju. Highly recommended.

For those who have access to it, I’d strongly recommend you to try the lamb soup. I went there every week while I was in Auckland, and then I left for China, Thailand and Indonesia with the belief that it’s just another home dish that could be found in most Korean restaurants but I couldn’t find any lamb soup that could stand comparison with this, needless to say most of them don’t even serve lamb. I miss it every now and then for six years and even regret I didn’t take proper pictures of these but just one takeaway. Btw the kimchi and radish are the best in the world to me even though they are our local dish in NE China. Plus the chilli sauce is like an indecipherable palate mystery.
