Hutt Dialysis Unit
I have been my wife's dialysis nurse since the Hutt Dialysis Unit opened. The full time, professional nurses are amazing, caring passionately for the patients in their care.However, I feel the unit is let down by its management, and their strange decision making, especially during covid 19. As I stated, I am my wife's nurse for her dialysis treatments.......we are married, live in the same house, sleep in the same bed, we have both been double vaccinated against Covid, yet management have decreed that I cannot nurse my wife. This puts extra strain on the full time nursing staff, and many very experienced staff have already left.
