NZ Van Lines - Tauranga Movers

We chose NZ Van Lines to move my elderly mother from Auckland to Tauranga. We had never used them before but the experience was so good I felt compelled to provide a review. Great communication, excellent attention to detail and everyone we dealt with could not have been more helpful or professional. Credit where it is due, these guys did a great job

Husband and I are very impressed of the service we received in uplifting our household belongings for our move from Tauranga to South Island. The moving consultant was very patient, replies quickly to queries and, guided me along the way with the preparation and payment. The team were very professional, polite, moves fast and have good sense of humour. They’re the kind of people who do the extra mile. It was great value for money. Next time I need a moving service, I sure know what company to call.

The Tauranga movers were okay, the Christchurch movers were excellent. However we were told we would need two containers to move and wouldn’t be sharing with anyone else. On the day a giant truck showed up instead and we found out that they had decided to change us to a shared truck without telling us. They promised it would only be shared with one other family. When the truck arrived at our new house in Christchurch we found out we actually shared between 3 families and they had the truck opened multiple times between Tauranga and Christchurch. The communication is the complaint here as we received no information on all of this, we had to figure this out these changes on our own. It was really disappointing. A phone call with an update about all the changes from the quote stage to moving date would have been appreciated.

From initial quote to delivering of home contents NZ Vanlines were quick to respond, thorough, helpful, friendly and all items were delivered on time in perfect condition. Moving from rural north island to Deep South proved to be a streamlined and straight forward task thanks to Blake and the team in Tauranga.

We moved from Rotorua to Christchurch. When Blake came to do the quote he talked us through things really well which helped take a lot of stress out of the experience. The move went smoothly and he remained helpful throughout the whole process. The movers were slick and professional and I haven't noticed any damage to our goods. We're glad we went with NZ Van Lines Tauranga.

We had such a great experience with Blake and the awesome packing crew for our move from Taupo to Nelson. Blake went out of his way to explain the process and he was really patient and helpful. The crew turned up bang on time and had us happy and laughing all day, and we all know moving can be stressful, so it was really appreciated. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the company was patient with our delays in recieving our stuff due to lockdown and delays in finding our house.Thanks guys, 100% recommend, especially for clients that are anxious like me!

We can't speak more highly of our move from Tauranga to Rotorua with NZ Van Lines. The men worked tirelessly from the wrapping day to the unloading the following day. Mark provided a prompt quote and ensured we had plenty of boxes and packing paper. The team carefully wrapped our valuables to ensure no damage and we can confirm we had no breakages. The empty boxes have been collected in a timely manner. Arranging our move with Mark prior to going overseas meant we could enjoy our trip knowing we were in good hands.

Thank you for all your help moving us from Ohope to Wellington, it was seamless! Our move began with the Tauranga team, who were so professional and looked after our taonga. NZ Vans stored our taonga until we purchased a home. The NZ Vans teams that packed, delivered and unpacked our stuff were AMAZING.They were professional, very helpful and worked extremely well as a team. We recently had the pleasure of using Van Lines in Tauranga and their partner team the Moving Company in Auckland to move my elderly parents’ belongings from Tauranga to Auckland. Greig went beyond to give us the best deal by arranging a truck share which made the process a lot more affordable for my parents. Communication is always key on these stressful days of house settlement and the boys kept in touch with us throughout the process, telling us the ETA for pickup and delivery at the other end. They took care protecting all of their processions and we experienced NO damages. The men at the delivery end were extremely helpful with the positioning of all the larger items and even moved the heavier items to fit the room layout knowing that we wouldn’t be able to manage ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble.We highly recommend Greig and his team in Tauranga and their Auckland team as well. We are very grateful for the easy and smooth process they provided us.

Did a rotorua to Christchurch trip the pick up was great , very professional loading and packing , but the drop off via a different crew and packing was terrible(no care just ram it in), many things broken even metal welds on a new sofa that was rough handled ,bed corners.dragged, broken table and few other items, real shame.
