Beautiful day up North in Kororareka. Just had a scrumptious lunch and decided on some Ice Cream at Delish. Heaps of amazing flavours. The young man serving on this day had awesume customer service skills.

Good coffee. A small selection of ice cream flavours. Although extremely small portions, @$7.50 for two golf ball size scoops. Doesn't seem to operate to advertised opening hours either, so if you're thinking of heading down early or late you'll may find they're closed.

Rude staff. My partner asked for a taste to decide which flavour she would order and was rudely told “no, we don’t do tasting during our busy season.” Was shocked out how abrupt and frankly rude the staff was - there are much nicer ways to deliver this message.Guess they’d rather lose the sale than give a small taste out, or make any attempt at friendly customer service. Given how nice everyone else is in Russell, it was really surprising to be treated this way. Avoid this place.

Delish Finest Coffee And Icecream
Stopped for a mocha coffee and smoothie; both very good. Tried the coconut slice too which is really just a bite size at $2. It was sensational. Kahu, the manager was a ray of sunshine; a friendly welcome greeting and between serving other customers a great conversationalist. In view of our experience it was surprising to read earlier unsatisfactory experiences. If Kahu is anything to go by then problem solved.

Great place to stop a while.Centrally located in downtown Russel, Delish finest coffee and Ice-cream is a 'must-do'. An awesome selection of ice creams served in fresh tasty wafer cones to die for. The double- shot long black had a nice oil slick and full flavour.The pleasant, friendly team members were coping well with a busy crowd today. Outside dining was excellent.

Rude Staff. Would like to have bought a double scoop ice cream. Only 2 flavours that I would have chosen. Ask for a taste test & the answer was a rude no not while we are busy. I said I would wait as I didn't want a flavour I wouldn't eat. With only 1 customer left to serve I waited & waited but got completely ignored while she was chatting to the customer getting served so I walked away. Hence this review. Am I pleased I walked away as seems like RUDE is the go. review

The place serves only Kapiti, which came watery and far too sweet (no other flavour than sugar). Service was bordering on rude and canny-be-bothered (is it some Russel thing?)For nicer ice cream check 4Square as the stock Kohu Rd - or take a ferry to Piha.

Loads of flavours, that turn over quickly. Something for everyone!! Single scoop is possibly fractionally small but otherwise perfect
