Autofocus Nelson

Didn’t keep in contact with me about where my car was at or what work was being done to it. Was told after I had to ring them that it wouldn’t be done by the deadline I had given them (that they told me it WOULD be ready for). When I tried to talk to the painter that I was upset about the lack of communication and poor reason for it not being done, and that it was poor service, was given my part and told “yep, poor service” before he walked away. Will never be going here again and do not recommend.

Such an amazing and fast service. Jared is super friendly and obviously very skilled.Called him in the morning - after my car had broken down. He managed to take it in (despite calling during a busy week) and fix it in only a few hours that same day!Thank you for taking the time to fix my car in such short notice. Jared definitely saved the day!

The owner Jared runs a very through business giving old fashion customer service.We toured around both islands of New Zealand in our 1960 Chevrolet Impala and we developed a problem with our vehicle not performing smoothly.Jared in no time had us back on the road in our car with our motor running like new.The attention we received and excellent explanation of the fault was very well received.If you are lucky enough to be living in the Nelson area, you have the perfect place to take your classic or modern vehicle to and be treated with great respect and a through job done.Thank youAutofocus.

Based on the reputation we had heard about Autofocus we took our much modified Triumph Stag to them to solve two long standing problems - a diff that had had a lot of work but was difficult to mesh noiselessly, and a shudder in the car at higher speeds. The option was taken to install a different sort of diff, and half shafts. The work was complex and bespoke, and beyond the capability of all but the very best auto engrs. Gary did a brilliant job, aided by Jared, and the result is outstanding. Communication was excellent and we were well informed with progressive updates. It is a very professional and friendly team at AutoFocus and we would highly recommend them to everyone who has a special vehicle and needs someone to entrust it to.

Auto focus is amazing! The staff are incredibly friendly, the service is fast, and the team goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. They are easy to communicate with and they were more than happy to lend me their curiosity car while my car was in the garage. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. I will definitely use this service again. :)
