We've had a very good experience with Mike at Kowhai Painters. Mike answered our questions thoroughly, with very helpful replies. He sent a large team of roofers to replace our roof, and they were able to work quickly and efficiently to get the job done in one day. The result has been great. Mike has also kindly agreed to paint a newer portion of the roof (which didn't need replacing) at no extra cost, so that the entire roof is in the same colour.I would highly recommend Kowhai Painters to anyone looking for roof replacement, roof repairs and/or painting work!

Mike and his team did a very good job of restaining our cedar cladding at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the work carried out and the finished job. Recommended for anyone needing painting/staining services.

Mike confirmed in advance that work would start on the Tuesday. They did a ‘no show’ on the day and didn’t reply to text and calls until later that evening. Not ideal when we had to coordinate our work schedules and child only to have a ‘no show’ and poor communication. Then he pushed the job to begin on the Thursday. Jimmy who completed the work was pleasant and did a good job.Update 23/02/2022. Received an email from them again today threatening debt collection. I settled my invoices in full in December straight after the work was completed. Really not sure what these guys are up to. I’m not sure if they even know! Changing from 3 stars to 1 stars review. Incorrectly threatening debt collection is not a great customer service Kowhai.

I needed painting of my cedar deck cladding that had issues with paint bubbling . Kowhai Painters did excellent job and resolved all my issues. I am very happy with their work and communication. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs experienced painters for all their needs from roof, exterior and interior panting.

Dealings with Kowhai Painters was efficient and timely.The job of painting the bungalow ceiling rafters was demanding and time consuming, Jimmy did a really thorough job along with the other sprucing up joinery paint work. We are very pleased with the result, given our home a new lease of life! Would definitely recommend.
