We love getting our takeaways from Kathmandu. It's our go-to for a quality curry takeaway and love showing off some of the top spots in Glen Eden when we've got friends round on a Friday night. Highly recommend both for their friendly team and delicious curries.

I suspect this is now under new management as we used to order from here when it was called Gorkha and the food was excellent not so anymore and we will never return. We ordered a variety of curries including fish and chicken and everything tasted exactly the same. Confusingly, we couldn’t even tell the difference between the chicken and the fish and the curry sauce tasted exactly the same despite ordering different dishes. It went straight into the bin and we had sandwiches for dinner.Highly unrecommended.

The food was amazing and very tasty! Probably the best food I’ve had in a while. The service is very good also. The staff is very kind and they have remembered us every time we went. Can’t recommend this place enough

BEST FOOD EVER!!!We got butter chicken and vege korma with two garlic and cheese naan and it was the best of these dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place, and the service was lovely. Thank you Kathmandu Kitchen

My go-to-place for a midweek takeaway curry. Complex flavours, well layered spicing, and an excellent mix of Indian and Nepalese food options. Staff are always pleasant, polite. Over the past few years we've tried every indian food and curry outlet in West Auckland and consistently this is our favourite. The hot curries are actually hot! And for the less spice-loving of you out there their mild and medium curries are always tasty, not bland.

Loved the food, and great service by Prakash . The Chicken Lollypops were crispy and the Szchewan rice and Chilli chicken were spicy and amazing. I really recommend Kathamandu Kitchen
