This is mine and my daughter's go to place! Weather it be lunch or just a coffee and a slice! We love it. Service is spot on always. Always nice and friendly. Which is a huge plus for me :)

Coffee was very nice and came out quickly, had the croissant with ham, tomato and camembert in it which was absolutely amazing highly recommend. Decently busy and the line went through quickly. Very sweet place to go, thoroughly enjoyed.

Unfortunately, considering the other reviews, I went on a bad day. The big breakfast was a very sad experience. Overdone poached eggs, the cheapest bread, kranskies tasting REALLY funny, and the hash browns were crying in oil. The staff was overwhelmed and clearly not happy. It was not the worst experience I've had in my life, but even the floor was begging for vacuuming. I tend to be quite accommodating, and not a complainer, but it was difficult to keep a straight face with the friend that was there with me.

I needed to use the Loo. No i dont drink coffee. And if it's an strong smell, i start to feel sick just breathing it in. Anyways, I tried a chicken strudel. Was delicious.. and saw they do mince on toast. Looking for a nice mince on toast place and will have to check them out.

Sadly, my coffee was made with scolded milk, and I received a burnt mouth. There was no warning of super hot milk. Staff admitted that the milk thermometer wasn't working.GF eggs Benedict took half-hour to get to the table, my GF bread wasn't toasted, and eggs over cooked.Such a letdown from the last time I was in Palmerston North.

Food is yum 10/10 especially custard squares they’re delicious. Service is good but felt sorry for the young girl on as the cafe was a little busy but she was very friendly. She was the only one on. If it got anymore busier she wouldn’t have coped. I like that the tables are super close together and there’s outdoor seating as well. Prices are quite expensive especially the coffee. I personally didn’t like the coffee it had a really unpleasant aftertaste. $66 for 2 of us
