I want one of everything! Such a wonderful experience having lunch at this relatively young restaurant which is 5 months old when I visited. Outstanding service, food, and New Zealand wine selection. I had the stuffed eggplant which was delicious. And for dessert I had the malabi. Best after meal treat ever. Beautiful and just a hint of sweet. The interior is fresh and smart. Staff are knowledgeable hard working and friendly. Love love love. Made my visit to Wellington very special.

Delicious food, great service, and a night that just hit the spot. Cocktails were delicious, but for those who like them strong. We'll be back.

Group of 4 ordered the lamb kebab, garlic pilaf, tabouleh, pickle salad, and mozzarella. The flavours of all the dishes were tasty but also very fresh and light. Separate dishes taste great combined with others! The plates are definitely made for sharing, and I would recommend at least 2 plates per person if you're hungry (or if you just want to try different dishes!).We didn't have a booking but were able to walk in and get the last table for 4 of us at 6 pm on a Wednesday night. Our food also came out quicker than I expected, seeing as the restaurant was full! It's very pretty inside and the atmosphere is lovely. Lots of people there are sharing with friends and family, which really sets a nice vibe. Staff are friendly and deliver good quality service.

Hands down - the lamb shoulder was super melt-in-your-mouth tender. We were rendered speechless by it. Literally. The Lamb Kebab was very flavourful too. Well done and hats off to the Chef! Would definitely come back to try the other stuff.

It's understandable why this is the new hot eating venue in Wellington. The food is inspired, fresh, layered with deliciousness and affordable. The cocktails are moorish and colourful and the service is engaging and delightful. Absolutely recommend a booking. There was a queue at the door wanting to get a table but...if you didn't have a reservation, tough luck sorry.

It was my first time visiting kisa while I was in Wellington for my 30th birthday and I had a delicious meal here. Although it was very busy, staff were able to fit us in for dinner which was great. Kebabs were so yum!

Such a beautiful experience at Kisa. It’s super cozy but stylish, with warm sun light coming through the big windows in late afternoon. Sit at the chefs bar to get the best experience. The Middle Eastern food was perfect, fresh, not heavy and absolutely delicious. Matched with house made sodas that you can add your favorite alcoholic tipple to. The staff are so lovely, professional and knowledgeable. I think this is a must visit when in Wellington.

Stop the press. My experience here was nothing like I was expecting having read prior reviews. Service was second to none and price was very reasonable. Food was out of this world and we probably ordered too much of it. We shared the smaller mezzes rather than getting large meals. Made it fun. I'm a vegetarian but had a bite of lamb shish kebab that tasted amazing.

Feb 2023Finally I was able to try this new place! Hummus, cured fish, tomato salad were delicious and great sharing dishes. The cheese entry, Leek, tahr and lamb though were good, but not great. The red meats were missing that punchy flavour.Service was good, food was good and the atmosphere was great, good noise level so easy to talk between us.It was a good overall experience it just didn't wow me.

Great turkish restaurant randomly found! It was full packed every time i passed by so we had to try. The pita break definitely made me feel back in Istanbul with nice hummus. Great salad they had as well
