Beautiful year round but most stunning display is during autumn. The photos do not cover the sounds and lively bird chatter in natural environment.

Our favourite stop on the way through Ashburton. Beautiful park, plenty of flora and fauna and lots of friendly ducks to feed. Perfect for families, exercise loop for those inclined, picnic tables, garden art and generally peaceful environment

Is a nice place to have a walk around and take in the sights. Able to get away from the noise of town plus it has nice clean public toilets. Often stop in here while truck driving (plenty of parking on the main road even with trailer).

really lovely to walk around in the cool drizzly evening. lots of park benches, and lovely secluded places to relax and watch the lake. especially enjoyed the abandoned aviary. 10/10 would go again.

Among the best and well kept domain in the country. Great place to relax, play, and meet. Vast variety of flora to Discover and an amazing dock pond that is home to a great number of ducks. Come and enjoy!!!

Parklike surrounds, kids play area, small lakes. Trees were beautiful as still lots of autumn colour in late May but very little flower colour. Garden beds only recently replanted for winter. One set of toilets by main carpark. A nice stroll through the trees but not a lot of anything else (fernery, shadehouse, tropical house etc) to keep you there longer, unlike public gardens elsewhere.
