Recreation Station

Seems like a good range of clubs. Having the launch monitor there is good. My customer service experience was pretty poor, so even after selecting a club that I was keen to buy, I just walked out instead. Maybe I am a bit sensitive :)

Bought a near new Cobra driver while in Christchurch at a conference. Recreation Station had a huge range and was a Lime ride from town. I tested a couple of drivers in store using their launch monitor after some helpful advice.Unfortunately the driver suffered a manufacturing fault on my first round after returning home. Upon contacting the store, they managed the return process and organised a new replacement driver. Fantastic communication and support the whole way through.I was very pleased with the service I received and would recommend them.

Highly recommend Recreation Station. The guys in the shop are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They helped me find the right club for my swing using the instore simulator which has helped my golf game immensely! Will definitely buy from you again!

I bought a used snowboard at Recreation Station which cost me $699. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for a professional opinion and I just bought it. It turned out to be a complete rip off. After one month, the deck of the board is already separating and the pads of the binding came off the first time I was out boarding. I just want to warn other customers to not do the same mistake and get a professional opinion before you buy a snowboard there! Way to overpriced for the quality you get.

Fantastic customer experience. Great communication from my initial email to trade a club in. Once in store, Rick was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Huge range of clubs and I look forward to returning there for any future golf purchases.

Bought a driver after trying out a few in the shop. Got some knowledgeable friendly advice before selecting the right club. They have re-gripped it at the shop and no problems shipping it for me as I was just in Christchurch for a few days. Very happy with the service.

Would not recommend. Purchased a new bag, second hand irons and 5 wood. After 2 weeks (1 round) realized the irons were not a good fit. Asked about exchanging for slightly cheaper set. Told I would be charged hundreds for this! Now stuck with irons that I don't need. Will never go back and not recommend.

Had a great and helpful experience. great response times to emails my expectation was the next business day and was often quicker. I had an issue with the fit of the shaft i brought, I should have checked and not assumed taylor made driver connection would be the right one. Now I know taylor made have a couple of different driver conection sleaves. Anyway. Emailed the team at recreation station, they responded and asked suitable questions to gauge if they had something that could replace it, and would fit my driver, they tested the suggested drivers to ensure they fit an m2 head. looking forwards to getting the new shaft with the correct connection. Returned the unsuitable item and had a new shaft sent within minutes of payment confirmation. Top work and service and hope you can continue to provide a larger range of used gear.

I bought a driver from here last year and they really went out of their way to look after me from the beginning. The store was about to close and the two guys continued to help me find the right fit. After a good half hour of swinging multiple clubs they narrowed down the selection and I walked away a very happy customer knowing that I had chosen the right club. 10/10 would recommend buying from here.
