Exceptional value.Situated within easy walking distance of ample roadside vehicle parking. Tables and seating inside and outside makes for year round onsite dining as alternative to take out or take home.Extensive noodles and 'Chinese menu' in addition to good fish and chip menu and burger menu. Awesome fresh vegetables - even in their own-made spring roles. Fresh fish decent-sized lightly coated in batter. Wontons excellently prepared, cooked and presented.Friendly, pleasant and cordial front team members. Four chefs rotate throughout the week to ensure premium food leaves clients happy and satisfied.Rustic (dated) gaming machine inside and out. Premises could do with a fresh refinishing.

Good choice for Chinese in kaikohe. Have range of meal deals good for big families. We are a family of 7 and got order c and we still had leftovers.. fast service. Clean tidy. Can dine in.

The food served as a dine-in is delicious as far as Chinese food goes. They also offer European dishes as well as fish n chips, burgers etc. I totally recommend the fish n chips, the fish being hoki. This fish is not always I like, but the cook had cooked it beautifully.Of course the standard Chinese dishes are available, even pork dumplings which are steamed and a different taste.Waiting time is not very long, eat in or takeaways. Lovely service from the lovely ladies and and a very pleasant place to be in.Situated at the lower end if town in Kaikohe with good parking right outside depending in time of day if course.Recommend as a good family eatery.

I thought the venue was a bit old and unfriendly, bt thought to try the food as it might be yummy anyways. Unfortunately it wasnt! I brought a seafood laksa, seafood mee goreng with some wontons for my lil famz. There was just crab stic pieces, cut up squid and some tofu with a bit of noodles in a soup similar to paste. Didnt evn eat it. The mee goreng has tiny undersize musscles in it had the same as my laksa. Very bland. Wontons had meat the size of my fingernail with lots of pastry. I wouldnt recomend this place at all.

The buffet was delicious but the service was the worst we were told to stop putting food into the container when it was not full.You pay to fill the container -if it doesn’t close then you should be charged extra.I don’t think enough food was cooked as to why they were worried about the amount taken.

We had noodles with mushrooms and fresh vegetables but there were hardly any fresh vegetables in our meal. Taste was soy sauce only. Portion size was good, though.

Wouldnt be in a rush to return.Egg and chips are very salty, sweet and sour is over powered by vinegar.Next time I'm in Kaikohe, I'll be trying somewhere else.

I have to ask them to cook my chips and fish well done because for me there bot cooked long enough, the fish and chips are soggy not crunchy, and there's less rice now in the fried rice.
