We stopped here on our way through town and LOVED the meal! This is tapas-style done very well. I also had an amazing margarita. They were able to squeeze us in without a booking which was much appreciated as they were very busy. The service was a bit slower than we’re used to but I think they were just booked solid, so it’s as expected. Very friendly staff, cute aesthetic, and overall would recommend.

We are visiting from the UK and thought the restaurant would be good from the views I read . However the service was extremely slow eg food was brought out at different times , garlic bread ( starter ) was brought out as a main . I was told I needed to order another main so I ordered a beetroot salad with a tiny amount of feta cheese which came out 15 mins after my main course . No apology!I then said it was too late and was told to keep as a takeaway .Children ordered deserts again all came out at different times . One desert they had to put in a take away box as too late .No apology’s at all . Charged full price $200 3 kids meals and 1 adult .Felt I was not taken seriously as I am a tourist .Children has to wait ages .No apologies at all .and no attempt to fix or resolve.A real rip off

Good food. Most dishes run a bit on the spicier side just as an FYI. Great flavors and good service. Several GF and vegetarian options.

Seriously good food! Highly recommend Beetroot & goat cheese salad, pork dumplings in chili oil broth and cumin spices lamb meatballs. So delicious that we’re going back tomorrow to try some things we couldn’t fit in tonight! Lovely, highly attentive staff. Great wine and beer selection. Nice outdoor patio and lawn games.

Wow! What a hidden gem. Definitely worth the short drive from Taupo.Chef Andrew and his wife Lily are such a delight to talk to. Chef Andrew creates unique dishes bursting with flavor. We had spiced cauliflower, sautéed prawns, roast pork belly, popcorn chicken and Thai beef rib eye. All were my favorites.

We really enjoyed our meal here ! This place is so well located with a beautiful terrace next to a garden with giant chess games, it’s really calm and peaceful ! As for the food, our favorites were definitely the beetroot salad with the nice mint/lime dressing, the jalapeño poppers and the prawns… The beef plate was close from top 3 with his amazing side of asian slaw and the chicken was good but not our favorite (maybe a bit too sweet for our taste but still a very interesting combination of flavors..! )

Beautiful little restaurant that was a pleasant surprise here in Turangi. The absolute best meal we've had travelling NZ to date. Everything was flavorful and executed perfectly. Highly highly recommend if you're in the area.

Amazing restaurant. This is a must visit if you are in the area or staying in Taupo. Staff are very friendly and while it can be busy our table was regularly visited and drinks refreshed. Chef knows what they are doing as was able to accommodate our parties dietary requirements.
