This is my second visit in recent months to 99 and the workshop guys are great! I wanted to do my own repairs.They told me what needed to know and only sold me what i needed to buy. Very friendly and helpful, with no over selling.

Leon provided excellent service - very pleasant, knowledgeable, and no hard sell. Understood what I was looking for and came up with the ideal bike. After my first visit I subsequently checked out/test rode have a dozen other options from several other retailers, but the confidence felt in the sound advice I received took me back to 99 Bikes for the purchase. Very conveniently located at Barry's Point Road. Very helpful staff. I am usually scared of going into bike shops as my knowledge and skill is very low. But the staff at Takapuna are very friendly and helpful whenever I go into to get my E-bike serviced. I don't feel intimidated and always come out feeling satisfied and happy.

We had an excellent experience with Ben from Takapuna 99bikes. At the first free check up of my e bike I needed a new battery and Ben sorted out the warranty with the manufacturers himself and installed a new battery free of charge. Very friendly and helpful customer service

Bought a bike for my daughter here. All in all a great experience. Found a good bike at a good prices and it was given a check to make sure everything was right before we left.The team member who helped us, Jared, was great - pointed out the options we had to choose from, was a great mix of friendly and helpful without being pushy. The staff here are great. I tried some of the other bike shops nearby, but this was by far the best shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend them!
