Great kayaking this morning. It's amazing to be able to kayak into Whenuakura Island. Our guide Francois was very helpful and knowledgeable. We also had a great chat with Mauro before our tour. Absolutely recommend surf's up for everyone visiting Whangamata!

Did the kayak tour out to Whenuakura island and it was great! The guide Mauro (sorry if I’m spelling that wrong!!) was great and informative. I did a surf lesson with him the next day and had a blast! Got up many times! Would highly recommend :)

Our trip to Whenuakura Island was the highlight of our weekend away. The island and lagoon are beautiful and Mauro was an awesome guide, he was very knowledgeable and patient and we had plenty of time at the island and in the lagoon and never felt rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Great kayak tour to Donut Island. François is a really good guide, and gave us lots of tips, and good chat, even though we were self guided.Brilliant tour. Highly recommended.

We took our family of 4, two adults two daughters aged 8 and 11 on the guided tour to donut Island an amazing experience, tour guides very knowledgeable and provided a safe environment for families.Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience for all ages! Our Five year old and teenager loved it. Moro was an excellent guide and shared his knowledge of Māori history of the Islands. A true privilege to experience this special place. Incredible scenery. Beautiful wildlife. We were especially lucky with weather conditions. Highlight of our holiday.

We had the most amazing experience with Surfsup kayaking Whenuakura Island. The deluxe tour is 100% worth it with the knowledgeable and friendly guides. This tour is a must do when visiting the coromandel, and was easily a highlight amongst other tourist attractions in the area. Thank you so much team!!

Absolutely incredible experience, my partner and I took one of Surfsup’s double kayaks out and went to the Donut island and can’t recommend it enough. Spectacular views and something I can’t imagine anyone experiencing any where else.Great information given as well as safety tips given before we took to the water too!Good value, very professional and definitely worth the paddle!
