Wot a great place to stay. Walked in off street,so to say, and was greeted with this bubbly vibrant person at the counter. (Sorry can't remember her name, wish I could).She not only found me the cheapest chalet for 2 nights but was amazed with how clean and tidy the place was.Excellent.

Small camp grounds in a good location close to gardens and walks.Very friendly staff and very helpful.Camp sites are medium sized. Powered and partially tarsealed.2 toilet blocks with modern fixtures and very clean.Kitchens are good. Limited freezer space.Two spa pools available and entrance to public gardens at rear of campsite.

The Staff are amazing, helpful, kind and friendly. The complex is incredibly clean and tidy. A very quiet nights sleep. Backs on to the amazing public gardens with just a short 10 min walk into one of the best little towns in New Zealand.Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely love coming here. The staff are Absolutely wonderful, the showers are amazing, the kitchen is awesome and the outside area is perfect. The spa is also the best I have ever had. Fully recommended top 10. Nick and the staff will definitely look after you.

Lovely campground. Stayed a night on a powered site. New bathrooms... fabulous hot showers! Access to the Oamaru public gardens direct from the campsite. Dog friendly. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The campground is beside the Oamaru Gardens and a great kids playground. We are return guests and always enjoy staying. The facilities are always well cleaned and cared for, and plenty of recycling and trash facilities are amazing. Thank you.

Oamaru TOP 10 Holiday Park
We stayed here (tenting) for one night in March, on our way back up the South Island. It's a really nice campsite, with shady trees and commendable cooking and showering facilities. The campsite is right next to the Oamaru public gardens, which are lovely. And we went to the Steampunk Headquarters museum, which I thought wouldn't be my cup of tea but it was so much fun! and very interesting.

We had two very rough nights on beds that need replacing, it didn’t help that the cabins were stuffy and hot with no way to air them out. Leaving the window and door open as much as we could during the day and the window overnight didn’t do much and the room didn’t go below 27degrees (we had a room thermometer with us for the kids).Facilities were cleaned often and kept tidy, I alerted management to the melted hairdryer in the Women’s bathroom. There was playground equipment for the kids and another playground a short walk away. Not too bad for the cost.
