Do not order from this empire chicken, order from the Christchurch central one. They did not read any notes on the order, plus did not follow the options they listed for the burger! Do not recommend also very poorly made.

Food was av. $65 for myself and my young child which I found steep. That was 2 cheese burg combos and a bit of chicken each. Burger bun was cold last time I got one it was warm and toasted. Potato's were OK, to many crispy bits rather than potato's. Atmosphere would have been better if I didn't have flys trying to share my food. Staff were nice. I must say the burgers at riverside are alot better.

Absolute favourite take away in CHC! Always reliable flavour and quality food. Made an online order then phoned to adjust pick up time and staff were super friendly and willing to accomodate even in their peak time.

Incredible chicken and burgers! This is a must try for sure. The cauliflower bites are amazing with the Maple sauce or the aioli

Really disappointing experience, we waited an hour for our dine in order while others that ordered after us got their food before us and several online orders were collected as well.If staff had told us about a wait time that might have been been okay, however an hour is a long time to wait for some burgers and fries.The food was fine and the staff were friendly but the kitchen seemed very disorganised.

First time to Empire Chicken and sadly will be last time. Ate wings, tenders,cauliflower, fries and a burger between 3. Cost 70 so had high hopes. Couldn't taste much other than salt. Everything is very over seasoned.Don't recommend sadly

After seeing the picture of the 'Anti-Vegan' on the menu (first picture), I thought I'd give it a go. $21 later and the second image was what I got. Heavily overpriced and not that tasty. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Go to the one in town if you can. This place is absolute shambles. 35 minute wait for a 6 pack of wings and there were only 3 people (including me) in there. Staff talking about drunken events from the night before behind the counter and eating food from Joe's garage whilst doing so.

Yum the double up burger I’m guessing is their version of the double down (kfc) and it was very tasty!
