Selwyn Village Healthcare

I really rate this med center. Dr, peperril is great, and you can usually get seen within the day which is a must with a baby. Only slight problem was the receptionist once refused to give me an appt with a sick baby perhaps out of ignorance. I spoke to a nurse I could be seen.

I found doctor done job well but due to receptionist not faxing through submission to receive my notes from previous medical centre even thou I had contacted previous medical centre as well as corrected address for receptionist several times by going in to Selwyn medical centre as well as phoning multiple times over the 2 week period she had not faxed submission until today I just contacted previous medical centre and they notified that they had just received it and will be processed by Monday I needed these notes as soon as possible due to applications for New Zealand defence force, due to receptionist (Hannah) lack of motivation and management of her area I am now on the next intake rather than this years in take. She told would be done with 10 days but 2weeks later I am still waiting. A review is much needed

The staff are amazing people and are fully aware of any mental or physical issues you have and are unassuming. I have had a wonderful experience with all of the staff over the three or so years I've been a patient here.

Since Meredith left, I am not happy with any of the Drs I've seen yet. I had pneumonia awhile back, went to the clinic like the hospital Dr said, they noted it and also noted a second xray, which I'm still waiting for from them. Had to get that sorted from hospital Dr, again. There are a couple other things that should be sorted as well, but havnt been. Have been considering finding a new medical centre.

This place has really deteriorated in the last year or so if it wasnt for dr pepperell still being there or the new doctor dr Armstrong I would be looking elsewhere. Owner - dr himself is rude and clearly there just for the pay pack. Reception staff are not very competent at all and need upskilling.

Have taken our 15 month old daughter in three times in the last few months for suspected chest infection and ear infection. Was told no she is fine"

I'm slowly pulling my family out of this medicalcentre one by one due to ignorance, rudeness and complete ineptitude!! Both senior male doctors leave a lot to be desired and its no surprise when a new good doctor comes along they don't stay. From misdiagnosis to poor follow up they win hands down. There's a reason the bad reviews outweigh the good?!

My family has been with this centre for over 5 years but we will not be going back after our last few visits. Paperwork errors, rude staff, taking money for waste of time appointments. Seems they cannot wait to get you out the door.Although I will say Isobel Light is a great doctor. I wish we had only dealt with her.

We love this surgery and all the staff. We come all the way from Burnside to go to Selwyn Village Surgery because to all of our family they are the best doctors.

Our family has been attending this clinic over 30 years. We called this morning and got the rudest lady (Elizabeth) and this is not the first time. She is an absolute liability to this once fantastic little clinic. I myself cringe when I have to deal with this person. We have decided this is the last straw for us and we are looking another clinic. No one is happy at this place anymore particularly the reception staff (all but the lovely lady with the accent) sad & unfortunate.
