I don’t often write reviews but wanting to give a shoutout to the team at Sunnynook Dentist for their great work!I have been visiting Dr Sherin and dental nurse Amy for a root canal treatment and repair of old fillings in the past few weeks. Really appreciate the positive and cheerful attitude every time I visit. It helps massively to make me feel at ease throughout the appointment. The care I was given was very professional, the quality of repair looked amazing, and I hardly feel any pain throughout the multiple appointments. I also think the costs were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service provided.Coming from someone who are anxious around dentists and only visit when there are signs of problem, the amazing team at Sunnynook Dentist manages to change that outlook and I am certainly feeling encouraged to do more regular checkups and hygiene treatments!Also a big shoutout to the receptionist who gives such warm welcome that arriving at a dentist office feels a lot less scary!

Dr Lakshay is literally one of the best dentists or rather all round dental experts in NZ. I've been going to him for years since even before he opened this practice. Just had my wisdom tooth pulled which is no easy feat as my tooth bones are very strong. But Lakshay managed it with a breeze. I have 14 root canals and Crowns / Implants so mine is not a simple case. In NZ I only trust Dr Lakshay for my Dental needs.Best Dentist in NZ

Highly recommended this dental practise!I recently had two Wisdom teeth removed which I could not have asked to go any better than it did. Painless experience and no implications with healing. He is incredibly skilled and very calming . They also have a very lovely reception team. The professionalism at Sunnynook Dental is above and beyond with affordable prices.

If you are looking for a great, well priced dentist that cares about their patients and wont try and lock you in to expensive treatment plans... Sunnynook dentists are the one for you!I put off going to the dentist for 10 years due to a bad experience.Im so grateful I found Dr. Lucky. Hes very calm, talks you through the treatment plans and is quick and efficient. Dr. Lucky has always recommended treatment plans, but never pushed me into a decision. He knows about my dentist- anxiety and lets me decide when im ready to have things done, rather than trying to push me into having things done. Have just had a wisdom tooth out which I never thought id be able to put myself through. Quick and painless!Thanks so much Dr. Lucky and sunnynook dentist!

I can not begin to thank the team at Sunnynook Dentists. My son called me in at 2am in tears because of the excruciating pain in his mouth. I emailed the practice on the Sunday evening and did not expect to hear back until the Monday morning.I was totally floored, not only did I get an email back but I got a phone call and and a text to say that pain killers and antibiotics had been prescribed!! This all on a Sunday evening!! On the Monday I got a call that they were able to see him before midday! With in 48 hours of the pain starting.Thank you so very much! I was not expecting this at all. The Sunnynook Dentist team went above and beyond - so very grateful and thankful. Yes my son is in incredibly good hands and being looked after.

Thank you Dr Lakshay for fixing my smile. Most gentle dentist in the whole wide world. Very competent, skill full and does his job incredibly well. Dr Lakshay did couple of procedures and to my surprise I didn’t feel ANY pain. Last but not the least all of the staff members at Sunnynook dentist look after you with all their heart. I felt compelled to write this testimonial after my appointment today with Dr Lakshay, what an absolute treat, both my teeth and my feelings towards dentists have changed for the better. Very professional and spot on service, kept me informed throughout the procedure that what was involved, applicable to an X-ray imaging was very impressive. Reception staff was so polite and welcoming. In all seriousness my teeth have never felt better and leaving a dentist chair with no regrets.I highly recommend Dr Lakshay to anyone who is in hesitation of a dentistry. Had a regular check up, then a few weeks later a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Lakshay1. So easy to schedule with Sunnynook and didn’t have to wait long for an appointment2. Affordable and really lovely facilities!3. So attentive! From the moment you walk in to reception (I had received a phone call because I was a bit late) to the entire time you’re in the dentist chair - I found Dr. Lucky incredibly attuned to my needs. He knew when to take breaks, when to remind me to breath when I was feeling anxious, and shared everything he was doing so there were no surprises. I was very nervous for my extraction and also found his assistants very calming (tapping me lightly to help co-regulate my nervous system)Recommend 100% (even booked my partner in for his check up too)
