I was in Christchurch over the weekend, but I was a little too far out of town. I called the Christchurch local taxi service three times, and each time a cab arrived within 10 minutes. When I asked for an umbrella, my first driver offered me one! highly recommend

Taxi from Airport, driver was courteous and car good, even though his method of driving was poor. Having been involved in no fault accidents, I did not appreciate that the driver ran a red right turn arrow and also ignored a stop sign. Also the fare was not easily visible, and was not stated until I had handed over my card with the final fare being calculated out of view.

I booked a taxi to take me to the airport for an early morning flight for work. I then called to ensure they received my booking and was told it had. I booked for 5:15am, I waited outside in the rain from then until 5:40am and no driver showed up, no one called, no one messaged. I tried to call King cabs while I waited- no answer. I had to drive myself, in a panic to the airport and park there for days. I only just made it to my flight as they were boarding. It's lucky I didn't have check in luggage, I would have missed it completely. I have used king cabs before with no issue so I trusted the company. After this very stressful experience, I will never use them again. It's not worth the gamble when you have a flight to catch. I called to complain and was told to email, so I did. I have had absolutely no communication from them at all and it's now been a week since this happened. Thanks to the unprofessional driver, who most likely slept in, I had to pay over $100 for parking and had a stressful start to my business trip. If you have a flight, I don't recommend this company. You might get ghosted like I did. After such a terrible experience, at the bare minimum I expected an apology and some kind of explanation. This is just not good enough. No service and extremely poor communication.

Google's search for taxi near me" turned out the best Christchurch taxi for an airport transfer. Fantastic customer service and a spotless business vehicle. Highly recommended

The cab driver SUNNY (Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid) charged me $60 plus debit card fee of 3% from Airport to City Centre. I enquired about the seemingly high fare for the 10km distance and he showed me a fare chart which could not justify the charges. However, he insisted that his calculated fare was correct. I paid him as I didn’t want to get into an argument.I have checked the estimated fare on King Cabs App. It comes to $48. I was ripped off by at least $14.Not a very nice experience.BEWARE of such dodgy drivers. Get an estimate before hand.

The drive was very heavy footed and was speeding and the estimated cost was $22 I was paying by card and he put 35 in to the EFTPOS machine and I said is it 35 now he cancelled it and change it to 27. I will be careful about using the service if I'm not sure where the taxi driver got his passenger licence from should not be on the roadThis taxi service needs meters so customers can see what they are paying for .

Excellent communication and service. Called ahead of pick up to confirm details, friendly service, on time and nice clean vehicle.
