(19th Dec) The pies were $5 earlier in the year, creeped up to $5.50, now they're $6. SIX DOLLARS !!!! The pies are a round shape, pastry is soft and nice, there's more filling than the pastry which is always great. The cheese has no taste and the mince filling is bland. Was so disappointed about this as there's alot of filling, there's just no SALT/SEASONING. Its the only downfall of the pies. The slices are dry, nothing moist or mouth watering and the cream donuts could be more fresher. Overall the items are abit pricey. Will try somewhere else.

It was ok, we came in late probably why everything tasted stale. $37.50 pretty expensive but everything is these days, still filled our tummys after a fun day at the park across the road.

Awesome Pies - make sure you go and have one of their delicious piesGreat little placeThe owners are very friendlyIt is basic old school lunch bar type place with squares and wrapped sandwiches etc.I am more into their pies and poached eggs on toastTotally unpretentious place

Really cheap food compared to the other over priced Ponsonby eateries. Really yummy and served well professionally. Clean and friendly.A bit of road noise was the only draw back but that’s what you get on P Road!

I recently ordered a 40th birthday cake. It was delicious , so moist , beautifully decorated & admired by all . I would not hesitate to recommend Early Bird Cakes & will be ordering again in the future
