Lawn Cottages

Recently stayed at lawn cottages. Couldn't fault the place. The cottage was spotless and very roomy and quiet. The gardens were beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. It was lovely to see that pets were allowed. I particularly liked the fact the each cottage had it own private outdoor area garden. Recommend and hope to visit again. AA++

I can not stress how absolutely amazing Lawn Cottages were to stay with. They literally had everything you could possibly think of available, from kitchen utensils to an excellent laundry room. Beautiful well kept gardens, and the cottage itself, it was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Flax Cottage and I could not get over how beautifully clean everything was, like to the extent where I wish I knew how to get my shower that sparkly and clean! (Seriously, what products do you use?!)The Cottages themselves exceeded my expectations of any place to stay, they were super roomy and comfortable so you didn't didn't up feeling cramped at all when having guests visit!There was air-conditioning in the Cottage for the sunny Hawkes Bay weather, fly screens on opening windows to prevent pesky mosquitos, literally everything has been thought of!The beds were comfortable, the wheelchair access ramps were handy for those who may require, we loved it so much that our Uncle ended up staying in the unit next door to us after we recommended Lawn Cottages to stay in for my Grandmother's funeral.My parents loved being able to relax and get away from the stress of arranging the funeral while visiting us at the cottages also. They found it serene and peaceful and loved how tranquil the gardens were.Thankyou endlessly for being such an excellent host! We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed in Magnolia Cottage over Labour Weekend 2021...FANTASTIC! Beautiful gardens, excellent size, every amenity was provided for. It was clean, comfortable, and the MOST RELAXING weekend I have had in a long time. For price, value, and sheer enjoyment I give Lawn Cottages a 10/10! Thank you so much!

Very nice. Would be very happy to come back here. Pillows so soft. Eggs and bread in the fridge. Gorgeous gardens. Would love to come back here in the summer with a group of people.

This was our second visit to Lawn Cottages.When we arrived the air conditioning was turned on which was fantastic after a hot day in the car.I mentioned to David that my daughter, who has recently moved to Napier was joining us for a bbq dinner with a couple of friends.He bought over extra plates and cutlery, and salt/pepper and sauces in a cute holder with a little umbrella.David and Erik are wonderful hosts who really go out of there way for guests.Its been a year since we stayed and the cottages have new bathrooms with underfloor heating.The shower has great water pressure and the shower head has a relaxing massage setting.The cottages also have new beds which are super comfortable.The way the cottages are situated in the beautiful grounds makes you feel like you have the whole place to yourself.Thanks again David and Erik for another enjoyable stay.

Just visiting my son and daughter in law.. they seemed to like it, the peace and quiet, good for the kids... comfortable

Loved this place, cottage has everything you need and more. I did not meet the hosts but I’m sure they work hard behind the scenes to ensure a very comfortable stay, exceeding my expectations. Bonus for us is that it was pet friendly.

We just stayed for the 3rd time at the Lawn Cottages.We are a family of 4 and always find our stay perfect.The cottages are pristine and welcoming. The bedding is crisp and beautiful,everything is immaculate and so clean.The peaceful rural location is so relaxing.Highly recommend the Lawn Cottages.
