I think it's absolutely disgusting that the dr My mother saw forgot" to send a referral for a scan they discussed at a previous appointment. Then when she mentioned it again it was like "oh what scan?" Don't you people make notes on your patients file? So if she didn't see the Dr again it would have been forgotten and she would be waiting for a forgotten scan. Real nice. It makes me worry for other patients too. So for other patients waiting on scan requests please ensure it's being processed."

I have been going to Taradale medical for years was always treated with respect and listened too but now you feel like nobody listens some of your nurses can be rude and no respect. My mum has had the same and spoken too rudely even by doctors.must be time for a change

Always courteous at the front desk. I've had the same Doctor for over 20 years so he must be doing something right. Very handy to Taradale and I know people who travel from Bayview and Central Hawkes Bay to use this facility. With the dentist, physio and in house emergency department and pharmacy this is a top class facility delivering a full scope of services.

Absolute worst doctor practice in hawkes bay hands down. The receptionist's are unhelpful and rude. The doctors dont make enough time for the patients the appointment feels rushed and dont feel valued as a patient. Had to change practices because i had enough of trying to make an appointment and never managing to get one.

Your phlebotomists (nurses who bleed patients) need proper/better training! I have done phlebotomy myself before so I know what I'm talking about. I'm NOT getting bled by your nurses ever again. This is the third time in recent years where I've been disappointed by the lack of hand washing/hygiene and the lack of skin prep (cleaning). You should also have your staff confirm patient identity BEFORE bleeding them, not asking afterwards what is your date of birth please?". I've had 2 incidences where the nurse didn't even use the correct order of draw of the blood tubes. Do they know that this can affect the results??!Please....do better! Learn about patient ID

I have been a loyal registered patient with Taradale Medical for many years now and have found their service over the last few months absolutely appalling, why be registered to a doctor when you can never get an appointment with that doctor? Have now been told that you can't ring and pre book an appointment time/day to see that doctor and this has to now be done on the day you want to see your own doctor, even tho there might not be any appointments on that day for your own doctor, sounds confusing to me. Taradale Medical if you can't manage the workload then why take on so many patients? This practice use to be very family oriented and had a real care for it patients/clients but now sadly feels like a numbers game.

I can't believe people can be so mean spirited with reviews. My only complaint would be on line portal always shows no appointments today. No matter date or time you go in.

I live near Taradale Medical, so I am registered with them and have been for over 10 years.I find the service excellent. If I need to get in urgently I usually can, the staff are polite, caring, patient and friendly. I have Dr Michael Koch who is amazing. I use their online portal and he has even responded over a weekend when it has been urgent. Recently I saw an elderly lady bring in baking for a Dr there.I would highly recommend this service and the staff.

If there was a choice for zero stars I would do that. Absolute rude customer service every time I call to book my children and when I go in. My children have been with them for 2years and I have never been spoken to nicely by the reception will be taking them out now. So disappointed because the doctors we have had have been so kind and amazing but they need better staff at reception not happy
