Pack & Send Queenstown

Fantastic Service (and cost) from the team (especially Shane and Chris) in getting a fragile family heirloom from NZ to me in Singapore - 4 days after leaving Queenstown - I had it safe and sound at home with me. Highly recommend them!

I recently consigned 3 bottles of wine valued @ approx $150 from Queenstown to the Kapiti CoastI dropped them off and was told that they would package them for me as I am sure they do for all packages especially wineAs the shipping cost me over $60 I did not take out the extra $40 insurance because I naturally though that these guys are experienced in shipping wine all over NZ and overseasHowever 3 days later I was informed that there had been damage to my consignmentIt took a further 3 weeks of phone calls and emails before I was finally told that one of the bottles had been broken by the DHL driver The remaining 2 bottles were finally delivered on 21st Oct after being shipped to Kapiti, back to the South Island and back up to Kapiti againNow because I didnt insure my wine there is no recompense for my because of the carelessness and stupidity of the courier 'which I find strangeThe management of the Queenstown branch want nothing to do with it and will not follow up with DHL for compensationThe least they could do is refund the cost of the shipment and claim it back from DHLI will never use these clowns again to send anything anywhere as it seems they can absolve themselves of any blame by saying it wasnt insured"I would have expected my wine to be delivered in full and intact regardless of insurance and if there was a breakage then I would expect someone to put up their hand and apologize and also refund my $60 which they havent doneThe two guys I have spoken to in the branch
