Hands down the best food of this style in Dunedin! The chicken burger and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream were highlights, but everything was amazing! The service is great too, they come to your table to take your order which is nice for a diner. 10/10. I will be back!!

I visited with a friend for dessert and we had one of the best experience. It was so nice to see the staff with warm hospitality. And as always their food is awesome!Definitely going back for dinner as the burgers and snacks menu look fantastic and our friends loved the dinner.A special shout out for ANNA for being such an awesome human and so far the best staff I've seen, she had such positive attitude.

Potato skins with sour cream and chives - YUM! Good gluten free cheeseburger too. On this very rare occasion I had the place to myself, about 1:30pm, so must have just missed the lunch rush

*chefs kiss* This place is the definition of 5 stars. We got the half size kumara fries which were hot and crispy, and the aioli was top notch. The bbq beef and Cajun chicken burgers exceeded our expectations - they were juicy, flavourful and had the best buns. Decent serving for all 3 items too. The waitress was so kind and friendly (even when I accidentally spilled water all over the table). Overall we had a grand experience and even took home a tub of ice cream because we were too full for dessert. Btw the kuku coffee flavour is delicious and award winning. Looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu.

Great food at an affordable price. Everything were under NZD$15 each, with the standouts being the burger and the onion rings.While a small menu, there definitely is something for everyone. Great to see what used to be a food truck expand to this brick and mortar store. Great area to visit in Dunedin city centre.

Without a doubt THE best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! We were lucky to get a table, as this is such a popular spot. The portions are generous and quality outstanding.Staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient.Wish more stars were possible for this place.

Looking for a great place to grab a burger, fries and homemade ice cream for dessert? Patti's and Cream Diner is a must try for anyone visiting Dunedin.My husband and I recently enjoyed one of their beef burgers and their special Poutine which was fresh on the specials menu that day. The meals were delicious and prepared with love by the team.Then came the hard choice of which ice cream flavours to enjoy for dessert. We finally decided on the carrot cake, donut raspberry ripple and the 3 choc. All were creamy and decadent but the 3 choc was by far one of the best chocolate ice creams we have ever had!You could taste the quality of the chocolate used and is one of my new favourites for sure. I can't wait to try some of the other seasonal flavours too!The Patti's and Cream team were all super friendly and we look forward to joining again soon!

I recommend, was very yummy, fast delivery, and nice employees. But I went there tonight as I wanted ice cream and they had closed 11 minutes early. Very upsetting, but will go back, hopefully next time they don’t close early… good restaurant tho!

Doesn’t even deserve a star based off the service my friend and I experienced. Have been a couple times and usually the service and food are top tier, but not this most recent trip. Ordered food via mobile call and went to pick it up- it had not been printed and no apologies were made. When our food was ready, all the waitresses didn’t acknowledge us and simply thought we were invisible due to the food being put back into the kitchen. They were probably having a bad day and usually I do not write such bad reviews but as a hospitality connoisseur myself I believe that as a customer I shouldn’t have had to deal with such behaviour. I will not be returning, a hair was also found.

After our check-out from the hotel in the morning, and before leaving town, we were waiting 2 hours only for the Patti's & Cream Diner to open, only for my girlfriend to have another gluten free chocolate brownie for the 3rd day in the row. It seems to be the best she's ever seen. I must say the owner and her staff are highly motivated, and I also pretty much liked my veggie burger here.
