Horizon Radiology - Northcote

We had four scans here. We had two different staff. Both of them were very friendly. More than what we expected. Very happy with their approach. Never thought of going anywhere else.

Horizon cancelled my 12 weeks pregnancy nuchal translucency scan on the day, and could not offer anything at any of their other clinics on the day or the next day. As people know the nuchal translucency scan should ideally by undertaken between 12 to 13 weeks and I booked 3 weeks in advance to make sure I had my appointment within that week. They need to sort out stand in radiologists because not everyone can easily take time off work in such short notice. The service came across as irresponsible. Would not recommend.

disgusting service, i arrived at 3:30 an hour before they closed and absolute no one was there and doors were locked.

Took a month to finally get an appointment, was charged for the scan even though there was a voucher with my name so theyre refunding the money that was paid. It has been nearly 2 weeks and still no contact about the refund. The scan was not done on time either. Not impressed at all.

USELESS. Call centre doesn't answer their phones and all I needed was to double check the location of my appointment. No confirmation of location in the text they sent. Infuriating to say the least. Do yourself a favour and book with absolutely anyone else!

My first time calling to this place to get an appointment. I felt like don’t want to go further with them because of the call centre lady who spoke to me. She was sleeping I guess and don’t want answer my questions in a polite way. Her voice was very low I barely understands what she is explaining.so I asked her to repeat few things and she was rude about it. So my point of contact was not good at all.

Two stars for reception, but not happy with one of the sonographers, very serious, moody foreign lady, hardly smiled or spoke to us, when she did it was pretty unfriendly and made us feel very awkward. Not a great experience when you come in excited to see your baby.

Visited for ultrasound scanning. The receptionist was friendly and the clinician was thorough, efficient and considerate. Overall it was good.

They called me on behalf of the hospital to let me know about an appointment they booked for me. As I was driving I asked if she could send the details to my email but she said that will send a text message the day before the appointment (that was 10 days after the call). I insisted to send them just right after the call to my email (I provided the email again) as I wasn't sure what this scan was about and she agreed. But, nothing happened after the call and the day before the appointment I received a text message stating only the address and time of the appointment but not mentioning the type of scan or the preparation for it. Therefore, I needed to search on their website and find the preparation for the study.I see the messages that Auckland Radiology Group sends to their patients and are way better and more complete than Horizon Radiology. So, maybe if you can decide, book with them.

With all my 3 pregnancies i had many cancelled appointments, one time they even booked me under a different persons name and i had to reshedule. It is hard to book appointments since i work on weekdays and have to ask for days off just to come to a ultrasound appointment that had been cancelled. I don't know why i kept giving this place chances.
