Glenduan to Cable Bay Walkway
Started our walk/hike from the Glen off to Cable bay and back the same day. We had a very foggy trip as it was raining the day before and had a hard time looking for the white pole track guides on the side. But it was all worth it as we got to experience the sea of clouds atop the hills and fantastic views when the wind blows. A bit steep but a great trip overall and best enjoyed if you have a vehicle waiting on either ends.

Glenduan to Cable Bay Walkway
The walk is great. Just recently the route has many slips. BY December2022 the track should be usable. Check with council before you go out. Beach walk and Boulder walk still available and shown in photos. Also children's playground available. Road is open.

Glenduan to Cable Bay Walkway
The views are fantastic. The path at the top through the pine forest has been roughly graded into more of a road after the August floods. It is a bit unfortunate as a rough road is not as appealing as it used to be for a bush walk. Otherwise it is a great day walk.

Phenomenal views...steep ascent but worth every step...beautiful area of native forest...then out onto coastal hills...highly recommend this walk!

Glenduan to Cable Bay Walkway
Starting from glenduan is a much easier way to climb. Park your car near the sea. The walk way will take 3 hours one way, so make sure you have enough time to return. The sunset from glen is fantastic! Just come and enjoy your trip.

Glenduan to Cable Bay Walkway
Walked from the Glen to Cable Bay in 2.5 hours. Had a car pick us up at the end and take us back to car at the Glen. Stunning weather even for mid July. Closes over August for a few months for lambing so good to get in. Group of 4, not huge fitness neededSteep hills at beginning and end with great views, forest and sheltered areas throughout. Plenty of good spots to stop and rest. Bit windy up the top. Well worth the views!

Nice walk, walked Cable Bay to Glenduan. Straight up slog first half hour but a gorgeous view and so worth it. Through native bush and forestry to slowly wind down hill to Glenduan.
